Really nice hotel, excellent location and friendly staff, plus the breakfast was really good.
I can't think of anything.

Pleasant stay at a nice hotel, the rooms are a decent size though could be updated a little as quite old fashioned.
Pool area was nice and pool is a good size. There are quite a few sunbeds and were usually accessible until the last couple days when a large group arrived and reserved the majority of the beds but left them and their towels were not moved. The pool has a very pleasant attendant called Frankie who is always very cheery and helpful. The pool could benefit from sun parasols.
All the staff were very pleasant, Frankie at the pool, Antonella and another lovely woman with dark curly hair who's name unfortunately I did not get. Cotello and Lisa at night were also lovely as was the pizza man.
By far the star of the show however was Antonio at the bar, I have never seen a better barman/mixologist. His drinks recommendations were superb, able to cater to your preferences and tastes and more than happy to make whatever was requested. He took extra care to remember names and greeted everyone pleasantly and more often than not by name. His drinks and conversation had us in the bar far more than we had ever planned to be, often stopping off for a drink or five on the way in from the town. If we were to return to Sorrento he alone would have us considering the hotel as somewhere to stay.
Plumbing was noisy though the shower. Bathroom was nice and modern with a good shower. We were on the 1st floor and there was a lot of noise from the ground floor/kitchen through the night into the morning so if you're a light sleeper might be worth asking for a higher floor room. Lovely view from the balcony over the gardens at the back.
Breakfast wasn't not bad but not good enough to rush down for so we often skipped it.
Rooftop bar is pleasant, seats are quite far away from each other and the drinks menu is very expensive (€15 for glass of wine and cocktails start from €16 - €22) but you pay for the view. The walk into the main town is 25/30 minutes and we heard taxis were €35 one way.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Fantastic price and value for money. Perfectly clean, wonderful staff from check in at reception through to Frankie the lifeguard. We loved it so much that we extended our stay! Incredible views from both of our rooms at the front and back of the hotel. On our last night we had food and cocktails on the rooftop bar which was very classy and a fantastic way to end our holiday.
Sorrento is a 15 minute walk away, but an easy one at that. Much preferred the area we stayed in as it was peaceful and still close to the sea (250m) with stunning views.
Great hotel, particularly for couples. Would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so special.
Nothing!

absolutely beautiful hotel. the poolside dining was delicious. our bed was incredibly comfortable and room was spacious and clean. we had our 2 year old wish us and she slept very well in her own little bed - the roof top bar is stunning, the staff was incredibly nice and made us all feel very special! the view was incredible! can’t wait to go back!
we didn’t get to stay long enough!

The hotel has a beautiful pool and a bar next to it, exactly what you need when raining!
Decor is basic but clean

Sant'Agnello is a quieter Sorrento, so definitelly recommend. Just 1 stop by train. The hotel is 7min from the train station. All very convenient, nice restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is refurbished, it is from the 60s and the mix of the new and vintage makes you feel well. Breakfasts were fine, a bit of everything from everything - eggs, ham, cheese, salami, fruit, vegetables, cakes, joghurt, cornflakes. Good for a 2 day stay.
The roof-top terrace is a magical place but the overpriced bar puts it down.

Majestic Palace is overall a lovely hotel for a short break. it’s ran well with mostly really good staff, the evening staff sometimes had a heightened sense of importance whilst serving quite expensive drinks. We stayed on the top floor in a rather lovely all white room. The bed was the most comfortable we had slept in all holiday, oddly when you stay in the hotels finest rooms the constant beat from the hotels bar above can be heard
bar until midnight each night.
it’s location 20 minute walk from Sorrento, the walk is fine and pleasant too.
The beds are really comfortable, breakfast is plenty full and the staff are incredibly attentive, any dirty dishes you may have on your table are instantly. The garden at the real is worth spending a little time in too. Hotel is clearly managed well and the reception staff always deal with any issues or problems.

Rooms were spacious and staff very helpful.
Air con was not the best and there was limited free coffee pods in the room (minor). Breakfast could have a bit more variety.

Ground floor layout, furnishings, bar, dining room, garden and outdoor seating
Fiŕm mattress
Friendly staff
Balcony view
Some lapses - new towels forgotten, no refresh of free water bottle or coffee pods for the coffee machine
The room was reasonable but did look in need of some modernisation (shower and bath looked old)

Good sized room. Nice to have a balcony. The included breakfast was good with a choice of hot / cold foods and juices. The well stocked bar was the most appealing place, with some comfortable chairs outside. The gardens, with lovely lemon and orange trees, was a very quiet and peaceful place to sit. The reception staff were helpful enough and spoke several languages.
Rooms, although clean, were mostly quite dated in decor. Garden view balcony was quite peaceful but town/sea view was pretty noisy (all through our first night). The comfort room had no towel hooks, which made showers less pleasant. However, the shower in this room was (literally) hanging off the wall - we mentioned it and were moved to another room. The second bathroom had supposedly been 'recently refurbished' but was pretty dated. In both rooms, there was no working extractor fan. The air con can only be switched on/off for the whole hotel. Our room got to 26°C all night but, as other people were asking for blankets, we had to sleep with doors open (but town side was too loud for this). The roof terrace was late opening because of poor weather in April, so we could not try this area. The TV stands on the desk, which is the only flat surface, so you cannot write or empty your suitcase (why not mount the TV on the wall?). The TV, fridge and coffee maker (you are not allowed a kettle for tea and so we had to pay €4.50 a time) are all plugged into a single socket, which looks very dodgy.

Property facilities such as the bar and dining room were convenient for our one night stay.

We had a honeymoon sweet on the top floor with a private terrace that was huge with an incredible view of the town, sea and Mount Vesuvius!! The room was spacious and the bathroom updated.
The hotel bar and sitting areas are beautiful.
We had an unbelievable meal at the restaurant in the hotel!
The town is a great spot to stay and be able to take day trips along the coast
Breakfast included had an ok selection and wasn’t the best food.
The coffee was disgusting - came out of a machine and tasted like mud

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, and bars but especially the martini bar on the roof. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Giuseppe was a great resource and we communicated via chat prior to our trip. He is outstanding!!!! He was quick with his responses and I truly appreciate all his effort and attention to my requests.
We were a group of 8 (4 rooms), we often complaint how warm the rooms were. They seem to do something in the computer to adjust or lower the AC Thermostat but never felt the room cooler. This is our only complaint but a significant one for us.

Beautiful hotel, great pool, great roof top and a beautiful garden in the back. A lot of space in the bedroom.
Unfortunately, in the last night the air conditioning leaked and one ceiling plate fell down in the bedroom hall, scaring us at 04 am.
