Awesome rural studio. Very spacious and in a secluded area. Wonderful green landscape all around with cute donkeys in the property. The owner is very nice and everything was great.

Remote location Very noisy at night Dogs barking all night TV cable box was O/S so no TV Had to figure out the wifi and password Owner disappeared before problems were found Unit was cold even with heater running Bed was hard

Wonderfully big, rustic and picturesque country cottage between the wine grapes and the olive trees. The owner was friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant.

It was a spectacular stay in Rio Douro region! The room was comfortable, communication fabulous! We were 30 seconds from the grapes! Although we stayed for one night only, we hope we will be able to return in the future for more time in this place. We loved it!

We loved everything!

The Casa is situated very nicely and quietly in an old vinyard. It is has a small terras and a barbecue place. You should stay there for a few days, but unfortunately we had to leave for the plane the next day. The host, Ricardo showed us around at the winery.

The casa is hard to find. Coming from the North on N313-1, there is a bridge with a zebra-crossing. Turn to the right before the crossing and you'll find a new street sign with 'Amiais'. The path starts as a rubble road and turns into a dirt track. After a few hundred meters, the roads ends and you are at your destination.

Breakfast N/A Location & setting superb with easy access to local walks etc.

Somewhat sparsely furnished and although the only bed was a folding sofa a proper bed would have been much better
