Lovely stay in Charleston

We loved the location it was a 15 minute walk to the center of town , lounge area in the lobby was absolutely beautiful with antique furniture. The dining room was delightful every morning for breakfast listening to Frank Sinatra and all my old time favorites. On the first floor there was a keurig coffee machine ,complimentary soda ,water and tea with a microwave. Every thing exceeded are expectations ,it had all the conforts of home .Also the complimentary toiletries were nice .We will definitely be back here in the near future .

Perfect location. Amazing house. Professional and very friendly staff. Great breakfast.

I love everything about this hotel, the manager Abby went above and beyond my expectations. She was friendly and incredibly helpful. We truly felt like we were at home.

We would recommend staying at this establishment to anyone visiting Charleston!

Beautiful, restored mansion. Staff was very accommodating, and location was beautiful on the South Battery. The wine and cheese hour was a nice touch and we enjoyed on the rocking chairs on the front veranda.

The bed in our carriage house room was uncomfortable and the carpet was an odd hard straw-like woven rug that was very painful on bare feet.

Property host, Abigail, was a great ambassador for 20 Battery. Deserves a big raise!

Loved wine and cheese on the front porch in the evening. The property history tour was informative.

We stayed in a historical house they we have passed by many times along battery park:)

Breakfast was good. We ate both in the dining room and in our room.

There was not one thing we did not like. The only suggestion was to put dimmer switches on the lights upstairs.

This is a gem in the heart of Charleston ,S.C. A must see ,and stay Inn.

The Mansion was beautiful. Abby ,the manager went out of her way to make sure our stay was amazing,and it was. Ryan checked us in, and was always available for anything we needed, at all times. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful. It really felt like we were family during our stay there. My wife and I are definitely returning to 20 South Battery. Thank you Abby and Ryan. I sincerely hope the Inn's owner knows and appreciates, that you both go above and beyond for your guests. Thank you. Richard M.

A beautiful property with a lovely room.

Breakfast was excellent with multiple choices every morning. I also appreciate that we were able to have breakfast delivered to our room. Staff members were very friendly and accommodating. You cannot beat the location, and the property is truly lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

Sitting on front porch in rockers overlooking park and battery every afternoon with wine and cheese was priceless

No reserved or guaranteed parking. Parking garages a 15 minute walk if couldn’t find street parking.

The location was absolutely perfect. Once we parked our vehicle we never had to touch it again until we left. it was located in a quiet spot but only a few blocks from the liveliness of the city.

A Charleston must!

Where to begin! We were wowed when we walked into the hotel. The décor and the furnishings were amazing. The staff exceeded our expectations well beyond what we have experienced in many other 4 and 5 star hotels. Breakfast was good and the wine & cheese evening was a great bonus. Our room was comfortable, tidy and well equipped.

I really can't think of anything - this was an exceptional stay!

Everyone was so nice! The room was great and clean. The property has a great view of the Battery. Breakfast was good. We were offered a night cap when we came in later at night.
