Weekend visit

Very tasteful designed apartment in an excellent location. Exceptionally clean. The balcony and the view are great. The bed is very comfy. Apartment was well prepped with coffee available on arrival, ice in the freezer. Would recommend.

Important! Hidden fees, dangerous stairs and lack of adequate heating.

Location

Travellers must be aware of the hidden fees: tourist and linen tax, cleaning costs and extra for a pet. There is no adequate heating in the appartment, which makes the place unsuitable for winter use. There are hazards including dangerous stairs; especially for families with children or elderly people. The accommodation is split over multiple floors with steep steps and narrow staircases. There is also a limited amount of hot water - not enough for two or more people requiring showers. The host lacked empathy and was not supportive or willing to listen to our concerns.

Beware of hidden price/ fine prints !! NO WiFi ! and NOT SAFE for young children and elderly!!

The view from the upper balcony was ok.

1. They tried to charge us for the bed linens and towels although those were written in the list of Bedroom's and Bathroom's facilities ( I have the screenshots) , but it WAS NOT even written in the pricing information from Booking.com under the section "to pay later" (after check in). 2. When we arrived and called the owner to ask about the extra charge they told us she/he would come in 15 minutes. Noone came. We called again after 1 hour , they said would come in 5 minutes. But no one ever showed up until we had to leave for dinner. 3.WIFI WAS NOT WORKING , finally offered me to send a technician on our last night at about our dinner time !! 4. Only 3 Coffee capsules for 2 persons/2 nights. 5.No Water at all , not even a small bottle of water, although it was listed. 6.Bathroom in the upper level is too dangerous.

fantastic view and clean, cozy

the view is super fantastic, we love it and enjoy it for whole night. there is a 3 michelin stars restaurant nearby, the room is clean and cozy, the owner is friendly.

the hot water is not enough and last long.

Beautiful Vieste

We visited Vieste after the close of tourist season, which has its benefits and disadvantages. The place is overrun during high season, so it was less crowded. The locals retake their town in October. We were graced with beautiful weather and fewer tourists to compete with. That also means many places were closed and the locals didn’t seem that patient.

Our apartment was nice and well located, but we had trouble communicating and they didn’t seem too responsive. There was no soap, a washing machine but no detergent, and rusty water from the bathroom sink.
