Location. Peacefulness

Room was clean and comfortable. Dining room attendant was exceptional, always willing to assist with a smile. Breakfast tray on a day when kitchen was not open was a nice touch.

Obviously business is cash strapped. Building in need of a major paint etc to give it a fresh appearance. Garden is overgrown and needs major clean up. Pity because the position is great and facilities perfect as a convention center or wedding function.

The pool was slimy and not appealing at all the bathroom and yards needed maintenance We would have never booked the Merlot house if we knew it wasn’t on the property of the rest of the motel we were there with friends and had to drive back and forth Was informed a week before our stay the restaurant would be closed so breakfast was not an option The motel was very outdated and needs some loving care

Good size room. Very clean and comfortable. Great location to the Barossa and Gawler.

Under renovations for February. Should be great when they are finished.

Place was run down. Need lots of maintenance. Very old bed heads with clock radios. pool ladder broken. Garden full of weeds.

Great location Friendly staff

It is getting a bit run-down, but the price matched this and the room was still clean and comfortable. Pool ladders are broken and pool walls need a good clean

the shower was awkward to use and the beds were super uncomfortable in very outdated rooms

Staff were friendly and nice and swapped us to an apartment but accom is VERY old and VERY basic.

We originally booked the 'big house' for not much extra. As soon as we walked in we were let down (that's why there's not many photos online! Think 1970's original house. Furnishings were nice, but original kitchen & bathroom. Regardless of that SOOOOO COLD. Only 1 heater in lounge room right down the other end. Outside was much warmer and it had a chill.

No toilet paper supplied and hair in the shower (possibly missed as tiles are dark in colour)

It was a large residence. Clean towels, linen.

It was old and run down, gardens were neglected and old facilities in the original dated kitchen and bathroom. The glass had a few cracks in the shower so wasn’t very nice. No tea towels or clean dish cloths.
