I like clean and tidy rooms. Near sea. Can ordered breakfast or just sit in the bar. There is a pool table, friendly staff. Also you can find towels (some hotels just give towel for hands)
Rooms wasn't near, quite difficult to find room, there is no parking, street near the hotel always full, other streets, private parking or just all spaces is full.

Gentleman at reception was friendly
Issues before and after stay never resolved, terrible customer service from the general manager. Charges a £1 for damages before you even stay (not refunded). Hugely disappointing overall.

Room clean but very tiny. Cleaned everyday. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Booking.com stated that parking permits were available from hotel and the restaurant was open, both of which were not true. Very disappointed to find parking consisted of driving around trying to find a space or paying £7.00 a day. All the other hotels supply permits either free or £2.00 a day

Close to the seaside, TV in the room, hot drinks coffee available.
There was no breakfast at all. I was disappointed as I thought it was bed and breakfast.
bathroom was really small. old, and shabby. The whole room needs update.

Reception staff not that welcoming, no one on bar without searching for someone. No lift working and the stairs were too narrow too steep and fire doors on stairs dangerous an accident waiting to happen and with no lighting until halfway down stairs.

It had good availability at the time of booking
No staff around when trying to check in ( had to wait in reception for 10mins before someone appeared)
Smelly corridors with badly signposted room
No lift so had to lug heavy bag up 4 flights of stairs
Poor water pressure and tepid cold water from tap
Little ventilation as could only open window about 2 inches
Basic as basic facilities can get

Nothing really
No facilities available. No restaurant open. No lift in use. Understaffed. Hated my small, dark, horrible looking room. Wasn’t cleaned properly either. Too far from main town centre. Was not a happy bunny.

Could have done with fridge in room as hotel was not providing breakfast.

The outside was nice
The room was very small and we had two beds pushed together instead of a double so I kept a falling between them! The shower was tiny and you couldn’t move the shower head down. The toilet seat was also broken. The restaurant was closed and I wasn’t made aware of this. The bar was poorly stocked.

The hotel did exist, which I was happy with when travelling from Bedfordshire.
Room: We are upgraded to a 'Sea View' room, with a window covered in scaffolding.
Shower: This had one temperature, which was 'The Sun'. We found this out when my 11 year-old child tried to have a shower. The staff took 2.5 days to attempt a fix.
Both mattresses were covered in 'stains of an unknown origin'
Someone was quite clearly smoking in our non-smoking hotel, which filter into our room each night
We had ants in our room! (we were on the first floor)
Local homeless people had an argument with hotel staff right under our window. I literally heard every swear word under the sun being shouted at 2am one night!!
and to top it off, the hotel chain have ignored my complaints on email, phone and on their website.

Location is excellent
No welcome very limited staff, broken mattresses, broken taps, restaurant was not open, no breakfast, hour late to get into room, no lift working very over priced for what we paid and extreme lack of service. One window opened the others were painted down.

The location is excellent, amazing views to the beach. It's a quiet hotel, so we could have a good rest. Shower was fine.
It is an overage hotel, it worked for our purpose.
They allowed us to have a late checkout and kept our luggages, so we could enjoy our last day wondering around.
The lift was not working, they said it was because of Covid. Carpet needed a good clean.

The staff were nice
The hotel was of very poor standard and toilets were horrible

Entrance to the hotel and reception area plus location was good. The bed was combatable and we had a tea & coffee tray in the room
Lift out of order, restaurant closed Our room was located on the second floor which required us to walk up a flight of starts open fire door , turn left open another fire door , up a second flight to the third fire door , turn left through another fire door and the along a passageway. I dread to think what route those on the 3rd floor had to navigate, The stair and hallway carpets dated, doors / woodwork required painting. Final the lead on the kettle was too short resulting in the need to go on hands and knees and plug in under the table.. The reception not always staffed as most of them were multi tasking.

I booked this hotel as it was advertised on booking.com as beautiful hotel.
In reality it was old, dirty and very very noisy.
Our room was tiny and the reception refused to move us, even though we offered more money.
I booked a sea view but got guttering.
We ended up leaving early.
Very disappointed customer
Nothing I won’t me staying again or recommend this hotel to anyone

THE SHOWER WAS SO HOT I COULDNT EVEN COMPLETE IT !!!! THEN THE SCAFFOLDERS TURNED UP AT 945 am BLASTING THERE MUSIC OUTSIDE MY WINDOW , LOOKING IN , LAUGHING AT ME , I SUBSEQUENTLY SMASHED NY HEAD ON THE WINDOW AND THEY LAUGHED EVEN MORE !!! CALLED ME A MONG WHEN I LEFT ……. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PLACE
