Perfect for family vacation and island exploration

Great amenities, nice pool, garden and grill made available to guests. Self-service laudry. Perfect for a family vacation. Very nice and helpful staff. Location is very central so perfect starting point to drive around everywhere on the island. Safe, quiet.

With the kitchen and grill so well made, we would have liked to have a bit more cooking equipment. Since we were travelling with a baby, we ended up cooking most nights. However, we very much appreciated that they lent us a proper kitchen knife from the main house for the whole week!

we would love to come back and would highly recommend this place for others!

the host is super friendly and helpful. it feels that you are welcome! also the apartment is fresh and clean and cozy - we loved it! there is a garden outside with fresh fruits and salads and also an amazing pool area.

there is everything what you need for cooking, except seasoning-be prepared with oil, salt and pepper for yourself

Exceptional

Peaceful location and an excellent base to explore the island. It is equipped with all needed for a comfortable stay. There is a fruit garden too, from where we were picking some strawberries for breakfast. The furniture is very modern, the inner space is beautifully decorated and designed. Paulo is a great host, providing detailed information about the activities and sightseeing in Sao Miguel.

One of my top places

Everything was sparkling clean. The place was even more beautiful than on the pictures. Everyday all the towels are changed and the house was cleaned. You have everything you need - even milk from a local farm for your coffee, juice, tea. If you want to make a breakfast, you can directly have some lettuce from their garden. Paolo give us a list with things to see, places to have a dinner in, and book us a trip. Definitely will come back and I will recommend it to my friends. It's probably the best cozy hotel!

Exceptional

Our stay in Quinta de Santa Clara was perfect - the staff is so friendly (Roberto, all cleaning ladies etc.), our apartment was good equiped (kitchen, hair-dryer, common washing machine,...). A whole area with appartments is very clean and good-looking (garden, pool - which we unfortnately did not use due to bad weather). And we made there a new friend - old dog lady Kika. :) We absolutely recommend!

The best place to stay on the island (and everywhere, basically).

We have probably stayed in hundreds of places over the years and this was the best! Beautiful houses with everything you need, pool, vegetable garden, fruit trees, the cutest dog and staff was sooooo wonderful. We cannot wait to come back!

Ideal & high quality accommodation with a great staff

Very friendly staff who kindly take the time to explain, present the accommodation and recommend visits/restaurants... Ideal location (to have a car essential) to discover the island because near the freeway Beautiful contemporary decoration with taste, cleanliness of the accommodation and quality Coffee machine, kettle... Congratulations to the attention to provide milk, coffee capsules, tea, juice and water... it's great

The standard size double bed - too bad it's not a larger bed like a Queen-Size No dishwasher

Luxury apartment with excellent design and ve eu kind host - the best place to stay in São Miguel!

The hosts are amazing and the place was clean and comfy. It’s a lovely house with the 5* hotel standard, daily cleaning and outstanding pool. Very comfortable bed! We loved the overall design of the apartment and the property. Plus you have access to the garden when you can harvest for yourself all kind of vegetatbles and fruits! :) And the location is great, for whatever plans you might have. Free parking inside of the property. There is no better place to stay in the island. The hosts offered us a traditional pasty as a goodbye gift which was very kind. Absolutely loved it!

Incredible hospitality

The greenhouse/garden of vegetables and fruits including orange and banana trees was a beautiful feature we made great use of for breakfast every morning. The laundry room was also very handy!

All was great, the staff working there really helpfull and kind. Everything was really clean and even they prepared a crib for my baby. Definitely I recommend. They have a cute dog and a community garden where you can collect bananas and organic vegetables to cook.

Quiet, relaxing and amazing place

This is an amazing place. Paulo was super super nice: because we arrived late he left us some snacks, we also shared everything we needed to know about the farm, we could even pick up fresh fruit and vegetables from the greenhouse! This accommodation is also really near Ponta Delgada - only 10 minutes away. It is also really easy to go anywhere on the island from there. We left really early in the morning and we just had to leave our keys in the mailbox. The amenities are great, the accommodation is very clean, and it's an incredibly quiet and relaxing place! We really really loved our stay. It was hard to say goodbye! PS: Kika the dog was also really friendly! :)

Really feels like holiday

The pool is great, the kitchen is fully equipped, the veranda is cozy. There is an awesome bathroom. Staff is friendly and offers helpful tips. The fresh herbal tea from the garden is a blast!

Quinta de Santa Clara is an absolute jackpot!!!

Quinta de Santa Clara is an absolute jackpot! Itis probably one of the nicest places we’ve booked. We arrived and were warmly welcomed by Paulo who could not have been friendlier and more helpful. He gave us a nice tour of the property and shared a list of the best places around + some information about local apps and websites that we later found was invaluable. From the villa itself to the grounds of the property, everything was just beautiful, spacious, clean, quiet and extremely relaxing. The staff are just incredible and basically invisible to guests- everything was cleaned, tidied and restocked on a daily basis!. We loved the modern look and feel and the available facilities provided much comfort- we felt at home straight away! The free parking, welcome snacks and friendly family dog were a nice bonus too 😀 I cannot recommend this place more.

Would have been nice to have a breakfast option but Paulo suggested some nearby supermarkets and the kitchen at the property was fully stocked and quite nice so it wasn’t a problem.
