Perfect short stay meets expectations

Great location close to all the attractions within the old city of Bremen. Perfect for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also mor than acceptable

You could not have the window open at night due to the noise from people partying in the Platz.

Nice location,average value for money

Location is very close to the centre attraction,staff was very helpful and friendly.

There is no elevator,you have to carry your luggage up along the narrow steep stairs. because the location is close to the nightlife there was noise until 4 am even though we were staying at the roof room. The roof was designed with low ceiling where you need to watch out to prevent bumping your head when you were sleepy in the night.

Little hotel that is lovely and punches above its weight.

This little hotel is pretty good. It is not a 5 star hotel but that was fine. It is clean, it is comfortable and close to the town centre. The beds are comfortable, the showers were great and there was a kettle in the room and complimentary tea/coffee and chocolates. We arrived after the staff had left for the day and they sent us a code to use at the front door to get our key to access the hotel. We had booked 2 rooms and the staff gave us the keys and a choice of 3 rooms that we could choose from which was great and very thoughtful. I would stay here again.

It is a little hard to find the hotel and it is right above the kebab shop.

Worst hotel and way high price according to the service and condition..

No locker room, no lift.. I have to pull my luggage through stairs to 4th floor..very narrow passage for stairs... It was bad...nobody there to attend or help with luggage..

Very okay if you only plan to stay for a few nights and don’t intend to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

The location is great! About 5 mins walking distance to the main train/bus station and 10 mins to the city center.

The area is a bit sketchy (safe, but just not as nice as other areas in Bremen) and the stairs are quite high without an elevator. On my last day I couldn’t get out because a person had fallen asleep in front of the entrance and the receptionst had to call the police to remove them. Also, for the same price you could get a nicer over all hotel in other cities, but since having lived there long term I realize that Bremen is an expensive place to stay.

Pleasant hotel in a central location

The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and very quiet considering the hotel's central location. The location is very good: very close to Bremen's Altstadt centre and also within walking distance of the main railway station (for those travelling by train). For car travellers there is a nearby multi storey car park two or three minutes' walk from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and offer helpful advice on dining arrangements. I have no hesitation in recommending Hotel am Hillmannplatz.

This is not a major negative but could be a problem for the elderly and infirm: entry to the hotel is by a single doorway and a steep staircase.

Fresh and old style luxurious. Nice bathroom. High ceiling and big windows. Nice service, spoke good english.

A bit too warm, had to open the windows, but then it was ok.

Great stay in central location

The location was great, a short 5 minute walk into the main part of town. Staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate our late arrival. We didn't use the train station, however was only a few minutes walk from the hotel if needed.

We had a front room and unfortunately was very noisy on the first evening. We found a fan in the room and able to shut the window the second night, which made it much better. When shut the room was much quieter.

Lovely property with everything needed for a pleasant stay.

All essential were in the room including a fan which was needed in the hot weather.

The location was quite busy on Friday evening however was much nicer on Saturday morning.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed

Check-in was quick, friendly, and easy. The room was very clean and the facilities were good. I thought the bed was comfortable.

We stayed in room 1, and the noise of other guests coming and going bled into the room very loudly. Every step and opening drawer from the room above was also very audible.

The location of the Hotel is perfect - Hauptbahnhof is at a walking distance and so is the AltStadt. In the neighborhood there is Rossmann, Rewe in case you need to buy some things. Lot of small bakery shops and eateries and restaurants are around the place. The receptionist and the staff are really nice and friendly.
