Nice place and good location for explore north Sicily

Nice place with lovely pool , private parking, just 5 min driving to Cefalu center . Nice beach 1 min downstairs :)

Disappointing

communication was okay

Unfortunately stay at the place of Giovanni was very disappointing - from cleanliness, and comfort to the welcome of the host itself. The place was not properly cleaned, the apartment didn't have good ventilation which caused a bad smell, especially in the corridor and bathroom. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable but the sleeping couches for our kids were terrible! I can't understand how they have still not been replaced. After raising this with the host, they have brought even worse replacements. Communication was okay but we didn't feel at all welcome. This is not a place where we would return to.

Exceptional

Great flat and very close to the beach, accesible via a path through the olive trees. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need to cook, large living area and the bedroom had a good size and comfortable bed. The outside sitting area was great, and the pool lovely. A great bonus was the barbecue 🙂 Hosts were really nice, and they went above and beyond to help us when we got lost on the way there and came to pick us up in the car. Would definitely recommend.

Ogliastro Sul mare has great facilities: the pool with a lovely view over the sea in the middle of olive trees. access to the beach can be reached in 5 mins the small house is cute and offers everything needed. Giovanni was a very nice host and was very flexible with our arrival time. the house can be only accessed via the Main Street, so a car is recommended

Giovanni is lovely and very accommodating. Nice to have the choice of a pool and the beach.

Beach at the bottom of the property was quiet and not busy. Pool was lovely too. Giovanni is lovely and very accommodating. The surrounding areas are very pretty and everything is clean.

Need a car, hard to walk as it’s a bit far out but we knew that and it was nice as it wasn’t so busy. Maybe the kitchen could have a few more bits of equipment but we managed :)

Very good

The air-con had a lot of power so it was always fresh. The bed was very comfy. We had our own Terrasse and the garden of the Appartement was very beautiful. You have a great view over the ocean. We would visit the Appartement again if the owner would replace some old equipment and furniture in the room.

The furniture was very old and and old fashioned. We missed a lot of equipment in the kitchen for cooking like something to open cans etc. The whole fitting was old and we felt uncomfortable in the old bathroom, because the shower looked dirty. There were also a lot of ants in the living room.

It was a really nice, quiet, and private place! Even with other families underneath us, it was pretty quiet. The pool

Everything. The pool was great. The property was nice and quiet. It looks just like the pictures. We had an upper unit, 2 bedroom with twin beds. The rooms are very spacious and plenty of closet space to put your things. Even the dining area and small, fully functional kitchen were surprisingly spacious. There’s no lobby. The people meet and greet you when you tell them you’re about to arrive. We didn’t have any problems finding it. We had our large suv and fit just fine into the parking.

The wifi was really spotty. So during our down time when we were relaxing in our room, it didn’t work very well, but only for a few hours and it happened just on one of the days, not the whole time. We stayed for 5 days.

Very good

Amazing location surrounded by olive trees with a private entrance to a beautiful and clean beach. The pool with oceanview is perfect especially with a baby its really comfy bc. you can easily switch between pool, ocean and apartment. The Nonna (grandma) is super lovely and helpful.

The furniture of the apartment could be higher quality. The matress was kinda old (you could feel the spring core on your back). And the owner should definitely install mosquito nets on the windows because there are a lot and its quite annoying at night.

Cefalu break

The location is perfect - close enough to cefalu but far enough out to be away from the crowds. The garden and pool big enough and ideal for when you have had enough of the beach. The beach itself was perfect - apart from the bar there is no other commercialisation. Apartment had everything we needed.

The bed - a bit hard for us Finding the place - could really do with some instructions or a small sign pointing you in the right direction.
