Calm place to enjoy the sunsets and relax

The apartmants are located on the main road to Falasarna beach which was a great spot for us and its a 3min drive from there. The apartmants are cleaned daily and the sheets and towels every three days. We stayed at the apartmant number one for 5 nights and it was very clean and comfy for sleeping. The bed and the pillows were really good. The room has most important necessities and a small kitchen which we personally never used. The room had a small fridge which is convenient but can only hold two large bottles. There wasn't a TV in our room which we liked, since we wanted to relax. The room had an amazing view looking over the Falasarna area, and the sunset from here is amazing. Sunrise is a breathtaking too. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough for one person. Varieties are available, like sweet version with butter and jam, or omelette with vegetables, or Dacos, local Cretan rusk with tomatoes and mizithra cheese. All versions come with a coffee and orange juice, homemade cake which was delicious, and with greek yoghurt mixed with fruits. Andreas, the owner, is a great guy, very welcoming and kind, always smily and ready to help. The day we arrived I was so tired and I didn't expect that the entrance road to the Elia is so steep so I pulled over and he helped us by driving us up the hill showing me how to go by car myself next time. It worked. Overall, we felt at Elia like at home. The place is ran by a family and you appreciate their effort even more. Its a great place to runaway from daily life noizes, chill, take it easy and simple. We will return!

We loved everything, but for people who can't deal with simplicity or have issue with privacy and sharing the big terrace as an entrance to their apartments it could be an issue.

Amazing place for taking full rest far away from the city!

Staff is amazing! Very helpfull 🧡 Room is large with nice air-con and king size bed. Very specyfic, beautiful style of the room - simple, natural, esthetic - we loved that! Wonderfull view form the main area (terrace, pool)!

Very pleasant couple of nights to complete our crete trip

Fantastic views, warm welcome and nice fresh breakfast. Pool would have been lovely in warmer weather.

As others have said, the horribly steep driveway with scary unfenced drop

Beautiful hotel with great view and pool - but a bit out of the way!

Great room and view from balcony - with all facilities and easy very-close parking. Surprisingly easy to find - big sign on the left. Brilliant restaurant just across the road - good food, good service, & good view.

Too far to walk to the beaches and a bit out of the way. Need to drive 5-mins to get to a shop, but good restaurant very close.

Room with a view.

Very beautiful, quiet and comfortable studios with a nice view to Falaserna bay. We loved the small private patio, as well as the bigger patio with the pool. The guy at the reception was very kind.

There are some small practical issues with the bathroom that doesn't have a separate shower, and also the water pressure is a bit low.

An amazing place to reconnect with yourself and to enjoy the beauty of the view ocean.

We had a great time at Elia, the owner Andreas was so nice to us, the breakfast is delicious. I totally recommend this place.

Best place in Falasarna

Amazing location, 5 minutes away from Falasarna beach, and astonishing view during sunset from the swimming pool. Staff was very kind and helpful. Only only regret: having scheduled only one night in this glimpse of heaven

Superb

We stayed there for 15 days and had a really nice stay. The view is amazing (sunsets are incredible). The Falassarna beach is very close (approx 5 minutes by car) and is one of the prettiest. Breakfast is really good with very nice products. The room was really nice with a balcony. The pool is quite small but it’s doing the job. Also the staff is incredibly nice, always here to help with whatever you need, thank you for your kindness and your always good mood.

Maybe a microwave would be nice in the kitchen. And the curtains are quite see through so you’re up pretty early !

Amazing

Lovely and peaceful location with a nice terrace, Pool and a stunning view over the sea. The Host, Andreas, is amazing with great hospitality. We felt like coming you when we arrive at Elia. The rooms are quite new, well designed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we could sleep without air condition even in the end of June. Best choice to stay at Phalasarna.

Elia is in a great location with a panoramic view of the bay of Falasarna. The sunset views are amazing. Andreas the owner is highly entertaining and generous. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean/fresh and had floor to ceiling windows with a view of the sea. Great location for a trip to the beach or exploration in the hills or down the coast to Elafonisi.

It was beautiful

It was really great there. The host was really nice and helpfull. The view was awsome! Be careful If you’re going there without a car. It’s around 2km from the main beach, it’s uphill the entire way 😄 but we really like walking so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Beautiful sunset hotel

I definitely loved this hotel! Incredible location on the top of the hill with a balcony facing an unforgettable sunset where you can enjoy a glass of white wine brought in the room by the lovely host. Amazing breakfast with beautiful views to the bay, local honey and homemade marmalade and bread served with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit. I recommend this hotel 100%.
