Superbe, notre coup de cœur du voyage !

Tout était vraiment parfait. Commençons par la localisation un peu excentrée (mais suffisant proche du centre, environ 5mn) avec une vue sublime. Les aras sont présents et d’autres animaux sont également au rendez vous. C’est superbe, on pourrait rester des heures sur la terrasse. Le logement est très propre et très spacieux avec une cuisine bien équipée. Petit plus : le couché de soleil juste en face. Puis il y a Karl et sa maman qui sont des hôtes vraiment adorables. Ils nous ont vraiment très bien accueillis, on ne les oubliera pas ça c’est sûr. C’est notre coup de coeur du voyage de 3 semaines au Costa Rica, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Et puis nous si on repasse dans le coin, nous reviendrons ! Merci encore à vous !!

We felt lucky we met Karl, the owner, Such a memorable experience! We had the chance to have a drink and chat with Karl,

Spacious, sparkling clean, very comfortable bed, beautiful and relaxing pool area, stunning view to wake up to while enjoying many birds (toucan, beautiful parrots) and other adorable species: sloth, coati, huge iguanas… On top of that we befriended with a wonderful soul: Marius the golden retriever of the the owner!!

We wish we could stay much longer at « La Maison Blanche » !

Beautiful property, great location and abundant wildlife.

Nice that the host picked us up. Beautiful property atop a hill. Able to see wildlife off the patio. Clean beautiful home. Gracious host.

Difficult for taxi drivers to locate. No sink in the half bath.

Beautifull apartment with Great open space. Close to park And most Of places You wanna visit And in the same time far enough to have a peace And Quiet. Wildlife like Tucans, Parrots etc. in front Of Your Balcony. Great comunication with Owner. 10/10 without hesitating.

A little piece of heaven near Manuel Antonio

Karl, the host is exceptional. One can see the genuine pride in his place. The apartments are beautifully laid out, the beds comfortable, and the setting is truly extraordinary. We spent every morning and evening enjoying the wildlife that lived in and visited the trees in front of our huge balcony. Every morning we were visited by scarlet macaws, and today we saw a flock of toucans. Each evening two kinkajou scampered in the trees. Karl provided us with a flashlight, and we loved watching these nimble critters gathering nectar. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It truly was a magical experience.

The drive up the first time caused a little anxiety, but once we'd driven it once, we got comfortable.

It was well appointed, spacious, and had gorgeous views. centrally located to Manuel Antonio and Quepos, quiet, and charming.

The bed was too firm, but everything else about the place was wonderful.

Everything about La Maison Blanche was fantastic. Sublime location, slightly away from the tourist trawl. Loads of wildlife. The room was wonderful and very private. Great view and wonderful sunsets. Excellent facilities to make food if needed. Brilliant service from Karl who was super friendly and helpful - he really went the extra mile.

There was nothing we didn't like. You need a little patience to sort out taxis into town - and be prepared sometimes to walk down the steep path - but this is fine. Uber worked well for drop offs at La Maison Blanche and pick up at the bottom of the path. Town taxis would come and collect but ideally need enough Spanish to call and arrange them.

La Maison Blanche is a beautiful place where to enjoy Manuel Antonio. The view is amazing and we saw macaw and several other animals just from our balcony. Karl is very welcoming and gave us a lot of good tips. Thanks!

Wonderful peaceful accomodation to close out our Costa Rica trip.

Beautiful, exceptionally well maintained property surrounded by an abundance of wildlife with amazing views! Host Karl was very kind and went above and beyond to help make our stay as comfortable as possible!

There was nothing that we didn't like about the property. Just a tip, the property is at the top of a mountain and the road to it is very steep and has many sharp curves which can be quite difficult for large vehicles.

Karl was a great host and helped with places to go etc.

The view from the balcony was amazing. we saw lots of beautiful birds and iguanas in the trees.

The road leading up to the property was very hazardous and a less competent driver would struggle. There were no signs for the property and was hard to find initially.

great getaway at a marvelous place!

amazing view at a beautiful location in Valle Pura vida. everything was thought of from decor to attention package. Karl, our host, sos his best to show us things around to do ands taste.

well it has to be uphill to have such a location. no biggie but car is highly advisable.

Our stay was great! The view was amazing and hearing the birds every minute of the day was amazing.

The view was amazing!

We were not prepared for the street that leads you up to the location. If renting a car, I would recommend an AWD or 4WD, but we were able to make it with a small sedan. We were not aware how narrow and steep the roads could be in Costa Rica.

It was a wonderful stay and Karl was wonderful. The only thing I disliked was the drive to the location is quite difficult to locate and oh my goodness, the bugs. If you aren’t into bugs and wildlife this is likely not the location for you. During the day it’s okay, you see random iguanas, beautiful birds and so on. But at night, the jungle comes alive. It is impossible to sit on the balcony at night as there are geckos everywhere, beetles and other bugs I’m not even sure of.

Best place to stay in Manuel Antonio. The view from the balcony at sunset is absolutely amazing. Not only that, but we have seen more birds on the nearby trees than in the Manuel Antonio Park. We went without a car and there was no problem at all. There are plenty of taxis available, and some restaurants do Karl is such a nice and frindly host, he gave us some very useful tips that made our stay even more enjoyable.

Beautiful space with an amazing view.

We enjoyed the space very much. It was very clean and decorated nicely. We had access to coffee and dishes needed for our stay. The bedroom AC was a great thing to have. The outdoor space is definitely an oasis. Karl was also very helpful and kind.

I loved everything about the property. I just wished it was adults only during our stay. As an educator for an elementary school, and having 5 boys at home. I was looking for adult time without children.

beautiful large peaceful apartment right in Manuel Antonio

Spacious large apartment great for a group or family of 4. a big pool to chill out at during the day or evening, we had some iguanas visit us frequently there. Karl the host was extremely nice and picked us up when we arrived and even took us to the supermarket. he also helped us arrange tours and transport.

Hilltop paradise in the jungle with amazing sunset views

Karl and Fred maintain an immaculate home on a very private lot surrounded by lush jungle and lots of wildlife. The sunset views on the ocean are some of the best. It’s only a five minute drive into town, which I prefer, because I like the peace and quiet and privacy.

This place is perfection!!

First the host Karl is so ready to help with best restaurant & local beach advice in the area. The apartment was gorgeous, modern and spacious with beautiful artwork and antiques mixed in. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and modern and wonderful front living area with kitchen too. From the balcony you can see across the jungle canopy to the ocean. Very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in 3 different places on our trip and this was by far our favorite. Thank you Karl for making us comfortable at your amazing property.

We loved everything about the property, the drive up was steep but you get used to it right away.

Stylish property with excellent views

This place was very chic and clean and comfortable with amazing views. The host was superb and really helped to make our stay the best. The pool was nice and the porch was enjoyed every morning as we drank coffee and watched the monkeys and birds do their thing nearby. We actually loved being up in the hills and it was away from the bustle of the town, but close enough to the beaches and restaurants that we didn’t feel too remote. If you seek tranquility and peacefulness within good distance to all the action-this us the place. We loved it.

The beds are firm and 2 of our guests preferred softer mattresses. On first arrival, the road to the house can seem challenging because of the dirt roads and steepness, but it’s not as bad as it first seems and is easily managed. Just go slower than normal.

Comfortable room, friendly and helpful hosts, well equipped kitchen, and a nice (small) pool. You could spend an entire morning just watching the birds and the scenery from the balcony and consider it a free "activity" (I recommend a coffee and some fresh fruits to complete the experience!)

Plan your first arrival to be during daylight hours. The drive up isn't hard, but it's much easier during the day, and it's a bit challenging to turn around if you take a wrong turn. n.b. I put this in the "negatives" but it's really not that bad and has the upside of basically eliminating traffic noise.

Gorgeous property with a Magikal view

Wow!!! What an amazing way to end our Costa Rica trip. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Scarlet Macaws that visit in the morning and evening was incredible. Monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, iguanas oh my.... Karl and Fred were incredible hosts. I would highly recommend this place. The road up is a little sketchy the first time but well worth it. Close to Manuel Antonio and Quepos
