Located in the popular Amelia South complex, this updated condo offers a great layout, new furnishings, a private complex pool, and convenient beach access. This oceanfront condo is situated closely to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. The Surf restaurant is just across the street with indoor/outdoor seating and frequent live music. Make the easy 10-minute drive north to downtown Fernandina Beach and enjoy the charming historic district with many unique shops and dining options. Guests will enjoy the ocean views from the main living space (kitchen, dining, and sitting area) and appreciate waking up to the wall-to-wall windows facing the beach in the master bedroom. Beautiful condo, beautiful views, and gorgeous sunrise for the New Year! We normally only go for the summer, but decided to have a change of scenery for new years weekend and it was just as good! The sunrise from the room and balcony in the mornings were unbelievable. We ventured downtown for the shrimp drop, visited all the parks around town and of course took the kids to Fort Clinch. This condo was stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds were so comfortable!! They had games for the kids and adults and chairs in the closet for the beach. Dont hesitate to book! We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and convenience to the beach (right on the beach)!!! We went for a late night walk and saw "something" in the distance start to streak across the sky with a red burner tail and halo. We were not quite sure what it was at first, but after looking it up on Google we saw where Space X launched that night from Cape Canaveral. We really enjoyed our time and the people we met during our stay.

Great location. Nice view of the ocean. Spacious condo. Nicely equipped kitchen. Clean. Bathrooms need new shower heads. The curtains at the slider were challenging as the curtains did not want to shut/open very easily. The complex should update restrooms for the pool area. For the most part, our stay was great. FYI - the renters are responsible to wash all towels and sheets prior to leaving.

My grandchildren and I stayed in L6 at Amelia South, hosted by Destinations Amelia . We had a fabulous time! The pictures in the listing are exact, the unit definitely did not disappoint! . The view was phenomenal. … the beach amazing, the pool perfect, every amenity inside the unit was there and functioning as promised. I will definitely be back to L6.

Brought my 80 year old mom and my daughter for a family engagement party. Short drive from JAX, and the condo was perfect! The ocean view was stunning and great for my mom who wasn’t able to go out in the heat on the beach much. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Have been visiting Amelia Island with family for over 20 years…obviously staying in many different locations…our family, kids and grandchildren totaling 21, rented 5 condos in complex…first time in 10 years at Amelia South, normally stay next door Amelia by the Sea…condos met expectations, but all needed considerable updating…during stay lost power on two different occasions, one of two elevators was not working for entire week…I don’t have to explain the problems that caused…were told renovations would be beginning in a week or two…probably will not return until these are complete and have a chance to examine…

We really enjoyed our trip to Amelia Island. This condo was very clean and furnished beautifully. We enjoyed the kitchen that was stocked with everything we needed and especially the lovely dishes. Great location. Would highly recommend it.

The property was as shown. The view was wonderul from the 6th floor. We would not have booked it unless it had an elevator. It had 2 bedrooms even though one was with 2 twin beds. My husband snores so we do not share a bedroom. The master was nice and the mattress was good. However, the twin beds were both terrible and were only suitable for a very young child so not very good sleep for me.

The place wasn’t as nice as pictured especially the curtains but still comfortable but the weather sucked as a nor’easter came thru giving us horrible weather over the weekend ! No beach to walk on due to higher water !

Great Condo, Great Location
Loved the private balcony overlooking the ocean. Condo was very clean and was fully stocked. Loved being so close to downtown Fernandina. Will definitely be back!

Condo was fairly nice and clean for the majority. The building is quite old.
The floor could have used a second vacuuming prior to my arrival. I noticed Sand in various places upon entry.
The master bathroom was very cramped and noticed mildew on the ceiling and much dust in the AC return vent.
I was quite surprised to find the house requesting removal of my trash and to wash linens prior to exiting the property after paying 150$ cleaning fees upon booking.
Somewhat dissatisfied with such request.
Though.. the view was lovely.

Although the building is aging, condo L6 was very nice and decorated cute. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfy. We loved having beach views from most rooms. It was great having beach chairs and an umbrella to use. We would stay here again.

Loved how spacious the condo was. Very comfortable furniture especially the king bed. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. Wonderful views. Great swimming pool! Would definitely stay there again.

Elevator quit working on Sunday! You cannot talk to anyone in charge on Saturdays and Sundays!! I had asked for a later checkout which was 10am. After my car was loaded they called at 9:30 and gave me an extra hour!!!!! They do not respond on the weekend!! Trash bin was all the way across the parking lot!!! No handicapped ramp!!!
