This Bach is situated a quick 2 min stroll to the beach at the lovely Taupo bay. It is a classic cosy basic bach but has everything you and your friends and family need to enjoy your stay. Taupo bay is a very picturesque and popular beach in the far north. Taupo bay is great for swimming, fishing, diving and surfing. Situated in the winter less north Taupo bay is a great holiday destination all year round. Also very close to Mangonui, Doubtless bay, and Whangaroa harbour. 15 min drive to Whangaroa golf course. Special conditions: Additional $40 fee if linen (pillows, pillow slips and towels) are required. Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$40.00 per stay); Linen (Optional, NZ$40.00per stay);

I am sooo happy I booked this place - it's so well kept, clean, amazing and warm! Has everything you need for a little getaway. I am absolutely coming back here with my mum next year, new fave spot! Thank you thank you.

Lovely cottage for a family. We only had 2 staying but there is plenty of space for more. Bonuses are: nice deck and deck chairs; fish cleaning station (wonderful for our first fishing charter); outdoor shower, huge fenced section and full size fridge freezer. Our family stayed in another holiday home that did not have amenities as good as this one.

Lovely batch, awesome spot and owners easy to deal with! Our two young sons had an awesome time and won’t stop talking about the fantails nest, highly recommend staying here.

Easy check In
Very nice vibe near the beach , we did have a ANT problem but managed to sort it. (Ant syrome under the kitchen sink).
Easy check out as well , will definitely come again 🙂.

Cosy little batch, quiet and peaceful. Plenty of bird life, enjoyed watching the quail scurrying around the garden. A short stroll to the beach. Enjoyed our stay, good way to recharge the batteries. Thank you Dayne

We had a great time here. Everything we needed was there. The one thing we need to comment on is the spiral staircase. Coming from the bathroom at night time my tall partner hit his head badly on the staircase. It could have caused a serious eye injury. He ended up with a gash on his forehead. This might be a potential health and safety issue that needs to be looked into.

Absolutely beautiful location 👌 was hassle-free process to get in and was not disturbed at all during our stay . The locals were lovely and welcoming and the short walk to the beach reveals some majestic views! Breathe taking and so peaceful . Highly recommend. Perfect for a get away off the main strip

Super easy little holiday - one minute walk to the beach, lovely sunny deck with bean bags and BBQ, surfboards, plus great communication from the owner. We stayed three nights and had our wee terrier with us, so it felt like the whole family was able to enjoy the holiday!

Super easy little holiday - one minute walk to the beach, lovely sunny deck with bean bags and BBQ, surfboards, plus great communication from the owner. We stayed three nights and had our wee terrier with us, so it felt like the whole family was able to enjoy the holiday!

Great stay!
Lovely, clean property, close location to the beach and fenced which was great for dogs. Really good communication with owners when needed. We really enjoyed our stay here, thanks!

Such a stunning location, great communication from owners but disappointed with the lack of cleanliness when we arrived. I’m unsure if this was due to people who stayed there before us and they didn’t clean the kitchen or bathroom very well when they were leaving. There is an option to pay a cleaners fee so if you’re not going to clean thoroughly for the next people staying, then that is a good option. Other than that, it was a beautiful spot in a quirky little old school bach and Taupo Bay is definitely a place to visit.

The information prior to the booking is spot on and the communication with the owners fantastic. Great bach with everything you would need for a trip away, the added bonus of a beautiful beach 1 min walk away. We loved the outdoor shower which meant we could keep the sand outside. Would love to go again and highly recommend.

Beautifully relaxing
Thank you for our lovely stay this beach house. Clean, stress free house. Me and my friend loved our stay with our little senior dogs. Lovely, flexible and friendly service. Lovely dog friendly community. I would love to book for longer stay next time. 😊

Lovely spot set back from the road. 30 seconds to the beach and sheltered from wind. Great deck for relaxing and big lawn for games or not feeling jammed in. Well equipped bach with everything you need.
