Good location, nice old style furnishings
Rooms must be cleaned up. Pillows are way too soft so bad sleep in general for those who do not like. Breakfast choice is good but small buffet room was really crowded.

In der Lage war sehr gut
Leider beim Frühstück sehr erschrocken, nicht besonders, wir haben nur 1x dort gegessen dann nicht mehr. Sehr enttäuscht.
Und bei der ersten Ankunft sofort andere Gebäude um ein Zimmer zu bekommen, was wir in der Info nicht stand, hat nicht gefallen und ist leider nicht sauber, nach 1 Tag sind wir ins Hotel umgezogen und fanden es etwas besser.

Leider hat das Hotel unsere Erwartungen garnicht erfüllt. Wir waren im Gesamtpaket enttäuscht. Obwohl das Haus an sich eine top Lage bietet und auf den ersten Blick wunderschön und traditionell wirkt.
Positiv empfanden wir die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Auch der Eingangsbereich war sehr nett eingerichtet.
Das Hotel ist in der Zeit stehen geblieben. Sehr alte Zimmereinrichtungen, ungepflegt und lieblos, teils auch schmutzig. Bei Ankunft war unsere Toilette eindeutig bereits benutzt. Auf dem Balkon lag ein benutztes Taschentuch und eine leere Flasche. Einrichtungsgegenstände, wie z.B. der Mülleimer, die Gardine und die Badtür waren kaputt.
Das Frühstück unappetitlich, Aufschnitt mit Verfärbungen und trockenen Rändern, keine frischen Brötchen/Brot.
Hunde sind in den Zimmern erlaubt. Allerdings gibt es zwei hoteleigene Hunde, die keine Konkurrenz dulden. Leider laufen diese frei im Eingangsbereich herum und haben unseren Rüden mehrfach angegriffen. Schade!

Beetje sfeerloos hotel en dorp stelt echt niets voor. Goed voor 1 nacht en dan snel weer door..

Very poor breakfast… the only warm food was boiled egg. 😅

Room was clean and tidy.
Bathroom in the room is in a good condition.
Location is perfect, in the middle of a town and just in about 10-15 driving minutes from Grossglockner.
Garage for a motorcycle (though it's opened and not secured).
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Restaurant by the hotel is nice and provided a very nice and tasty dinner on the terrace outside (not included in the booking, obv.).
Breakfast is awful - the cheapest "Koenigsemmel" with cheapest Salami and cheapest Cheese.
Coffee was crap (could not drink at all), "juice" from the machine was crap.
Mattress is too hard and the pillows are too thin.

Location is very bad. It is very far from zell am see center. Located in unlivable area whereas no markets. Breakfast is not good at all.
All towels are old, not good and bad quality.
Beds are not comfortable and pillows like paper, very bad quality.
The pool located in very bad area outside the hotel, and has only a very dirty water which can’t be used and when I complained to the reception, one silly person told me it is Halal water !!!!!
Room is not equipped by any essentials like kettle, minibar or cooling fan which is very strange.

The location in the town was great. The hotel has a real authentic feel to it. The town itself does not have a lot to offer but the location is close to train station and bus stops whereby other locations are easily reachable

In bathroom, shower did not had a door. So all water from shower was going outside leaving bathroom wet.

The hotel is at a very good location. Almost 10 mins drive from zee alm see. The rooms are nice and big and WC/shower facilities are also nice.
The breakfast is also nice . Good feel of the core Austrian culture. There is also free parking available around the hotel.
I made a reservation for a double/ family room. The queen size bed was comfortable but the other was a sofa cum bed. It was very hard/uncomfortable. Highly recommended that when you get the room please make sure to check the beds.

Traditional hotel, beautiful location in small town at the beginning of Hochalpenstrasse. Lovely sitting areas for guests, halls and meeting rooms with original, historical furniture.
Furniture in the hotel room was also historical, I would prefer if bathroom was more contemporary...

Staff in bar were inattentive and the draught pils bier was the worst we’ve had in Austria 🇦🇹

The hotel is ridiculously dirty and old! All the corridors literally smell of age, dirty sheets from cleaning the rooms are standing in the corridors. Breakfast was uninteresting food, though there was some fresh fruit. Service was intermittent, so food like bread and eggs simply ran out for a while.
