Decent facilities, great staff, but a little out of the way

Staff was very helpful and nice. FIve stars for them. Food in the restaurant was quite good, and breakfast was decent. The room was clean and roomy, air conditioning was decent, Wifi was great. In general, a nice place and good, clean facilities.

It's out in the middle of nowhere a bit. If you don't have a car, it's very hard to get to and from here. The closest town, Toroella, is about 10 minutes by car, 30 by bike, but over an hour by foot. There are only a couple of taxi services in the area and they often don't pick up the phone or are not available right away. When they are available, it might still take an hour for them to get to you. None of this is the hotel's fault, it's just that kind of area, but without a car this would be a very hard place to stay and navigate the region. In general I think you have to have a car for the region.

best stay! Jacuzzi, pool and great food!

beautiful, amazing hotel. Bacon, Jacuzzi and pool! It had an amazing clean pool. The restaurant was so fantastic- the deep-fried cod was the best ever! The jacuzzi was perfect and it was a big clean bed. They even gave us a bottle of local wine. Wow.

the ´free´ bread and they bring to the table isn´t free. Catalans know this- but other cultures would assume it´s free. It was good and the garlic spread was good- just in case tourists get upset- that is why.

Very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful including the owner . The room was clean and very comfortable with good Wi-Fi 👍. Not far from the sea walking distance 5 minutes walk may be 10...

If travelling in the evening specially the first night you need to be careful. The road is very narrow without light....Breakfast was OK......noisy water pump somewhere may the pool make not comfortable in the evening.

would recommend if you have car and like rural settings.

comfy beds, nice surroundings , even though not very modern, very clean. VERY generous breakfast. when our mini fridge wasn’t working well a lovely employee brought up a replacement which worked fine.

One Must have a car. In the dining room it was very hot and humid. I was overheated and so the manager moved me under the AC unit, which she turned on, but then didn’t close the windows and doors??? The walk to the beach was nice except people leave their dog poop along the sides of the path. It is so rude, and it brings the feel of the place down. I would also build enclosures for the garbage cans- they stink and are in full view of one end of the dining room. If I were owning a property along there I would try and get the other properties to pitch in and hire someone to clean up the dog doo and any garbage once a day. Honestly I can’t believe the inconsideration of dog owners- that being said there are no garbage cans along the path- but still- carry your dogs business with you until you can properly dispose of it ! It’s a very well run hotel, and clean, but the surroundings bring it down a touch.

The view from the balcony. Room was clean. Service personnel attentive. Well maintained. Good parking

Air Condition - exist but has no effect whatsoever. I had to pick a noisy ventilator from the stuff and sleep with open balcony doors all night. Smelly corridors - just not good clean smell. Breakfast - very poor, limited, only vegetables are old tomatoes and garlic cloves (?) Remote - very remote, still a lot of noise from outside Neigbouring hotel and parties

Very pleasant, unpretentious hotel which was excellent value, would recommend!

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All the staff from reception to waiters and cleaners were friendly, keen to please and professional. The cleanliness was notable. Very good access to the beach, but a car needed for elsewhere.

Nothing, it exceeded expectations.

Room size is very good, bathroom very pleasant. At 7min walking distance from Gola del Ter beach.

Swimming pool could be better cleaned. By high temperatures periods, as the Aircon works with the room key in a socket, may be worth asking for a second room key so as to find a cooler place to sleep at night.

Superb

The hotel has an excellent restaurant; the food was outstanding. The staff was helpful. It rural setting puts it a significant distance from nearby villages and services. Post summer season when every venue totally closes down in this area it could be a problem for some guests.

Pleasant

The evening meal was lovely, the breakfast good but the coffee had run out and know one was around to refill it.

The shower was over the bath and it sprayed onto the floor and the floor was extremely slippery, so much so that my husband was worried about having a shower.
