perfect place for family as the security level is high, and what make it perfect is the stuff the have

the stuff is very helpful and kind

smoking area is not open all the time, if it happens you want to have smoke around early morning then u need to get out of the hotel

True relaxing in Istambul!

Perfect location, very close to Taksim Square but also very clean and spacious streets and area around the hotel! The staff is very polite and attentive. The breakfast is fabulous, rooms are very clean.

staff in resturant for breakfast force you to seat where they wish and you feel like prisioners

just parking was good and dining presentation

bad lights in room there were not sufficient lights in rooms and corridors staff are weak receptions are not eanough experienced i was waiting for my baggages take to room more than 30 min and finally i did myself

Хороший персонал. Хорошее расположение отеля. Тихо в номере, просторно. Вид из окна был отличный. Охрана на входе.

Завтрак не оправдал ожидания для такого названия отеля и пяти звезд. Мог быть и поразнообразнее. Но, голодным ни кто не останется.

enjoyable time spent with friends and family.

breakfast could be better. no fish (salmon) served. fruit selection was good, pastry was good.

Great location for exploring the city

Overall, we had a great stay at Grand Hyatt - it was relaxing, exactly what we needed. The room was big, the bathroom specifically was very nice with a fabulous shower and a lovely bath with provided bathrobes and slippers. We did not use the swimming pool as we stayed in January but I made good use of the spa and had amazing massages there! It was a perfect location for exploring the city - a literally 5 minute walk to Taksim square where you could get public transport to get you anywhere in the city. We only had breakfast on one of the days but it was good with wide selection of hot and clod dishes and drinks, pastries and the usual stuff. If I'm staying in Istanbul, I think I'll stay here again.

The room service was nice enough but a bit patchy - you order the same thing on three days but you never know what will be delivered! But this was minor. Being close to the stadium and Taksim square, on Friday it was quite noisy outside but this was nothing that was disturbing us too much and certainly outside of hotel's control. What I did not like, was that the manager was trying to sell this grand club to me which was giving access to the 'exclusive' lounge which was actually a very dated, unattractive room. Don't buy it.

Excellent due to the great staff!

I am again impressed by the very good and attentive staff of this hotel. From arriving to departure (at front desk Hussayn) and at the front door and at the breakfast room, great service staff. All of them make the stay a pleasure in a great city.

Mixed bag, needs renovations, food quality needs improvement

Large rooms and bathrooms - lovely breakfast

Getting very tired and old. Serious need for renovations. Lots of street noise from Bosphorus facing rooms. Food quality in 34 Restaurant very ordinary with multiple visits. The quality of ingredients and the flavour is incredibly bad for such a kew restaurant in a large 5 star property

Excellent! Will be back :)

A short walk to Taksim square, the location of the hotel is excellent! The staff and service received is beyond expectations. The breakfast was my absolute favourite with freshly baked breads, made to order eggs, dips, cheeses, juices and even freshly made to order gozleme.

The hotel rooms require a spruce up. Although clean, it is an old hotel and requires a little maintenance to modernise it.

The AC was too hot for 2 days in the 2 rooms, and i had to tell the reception 3 times and didnt fix until the 3rd night

Great location but lots of areas to improve including a makeover of all facilities.

The pool facility was one reason we choose to stay. This was great to be able to cool off and relax. The location to Taksim Square and surrounds was a bonus. The cleaning staff were amazing and ensured rooms were cleaned to a high standard.

- The staff especially in the pool area often forgot your orders or were very slow with service. - The breakfast and quality of fresh fruit was tasteless and poor. Maybe this was after visiting Greece and we were spoilt with high quality of fresh fruit. I had high expectations for the Grand Hyatt to be sourcing high quality produce. - This was not a point that could be controlled by the Hyatt but I found many people staying there to be rude to staff, unfriendly or not considering the other guest’s peace and quiet. There was a sense of many entitled people.
