Very clean and well cared for, nice pool, beautiful gardens. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Was really difficult to get food, first night there was no cook, second night I didn’t bother, third night the very disinterested girl behind the bar told me to read the menu on the wall which was mostly illegible. So I ate every night at the Cap St Louis Hotel about 100 yards away which was very nice. Also it seems you have to request water for the shower when you need it which seems a little odd.

I could hear the sound of the waves from our room. Breakfast was good.
The gate to the beach was often locked. The beach was covered in trash. Difficult to access without a car. Very few restaurants within walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. My cabana was clean and comfortable. I fell asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing which was special.

excellent location, next to the beach
all good. the young lady at the reception/bar should be more client friendly

It is located right on the beach; there were no issues with food availability in the restaurant; the pool was relaxing, clean, and well-shaded. It's very quiet, even when the place is booked, and the staff tried to accommodate my requests whenever they could.
It was one disaster after another. The electricity kept going out (this is pretty normal in Saint-Louis, but at this hotel it really screwed up how the ACs worked). Management tried to be accommodating, but other staff seemed put out by some requests (for example, when the AC went out in my first room, they upgraded me at no extra charge but made me carry one of my big bags to the new room because staff were busy with other things. Normally, I wouldn't care, but I was extremely tired and sore from running around in the heat to do other errands).
They advertised a private beach on the property, but access to it was locked off and obviously hadn't been used in some time. When I checked in, they told me they accepted Visa when I asked, but on checkout, they said they only took cash.

Nothing from the hotel or staff
Staff rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. Food bad, I got food poisoning. Charged extra for air con. No water for shower. No access to the beach which was advertised.

Location was far away from city but quiet close to sea. Beautiful garden and good restaurant, with local cuisine for dinner
Restaurant was opening at evening but on different time each day. French breakfast, nothing from local cuisine.

Liked the staff, always helpful. Location was as expected and the breakfast that was included was good. Liked the way the rooms were presented and the many coloured fabrics used. Staff kept the hotel and the rooms very clean. Swimming pool was a good size and well kept.
The wifi was not as good as suggested. Often left without a connection. wifi did not extend beyond the reception area. The rooms did not have anywhere to but your personal items and there was not a wardrobe or any hanging space for clothes. There was not any booklets or details as to what was on offer either locally or at the hotel. There was nowhere to exchange money. The bill needed to be paid in cash - ie did not take any cards. Access to the beach was via a locked metal door that could not fully be opened. The beach was a fabulous except for the rubbish strewn everywhere. There was no area marked off as private as suggested on the booking page.

They let me change room, as I walk with crutches and long way from reception, and unlit path. Also the housekeeper who took me to my room and reception next morning helpful and friendly
Rude and unhelpful patrons wife when I requested room change. Made me feel a nuisance.
Stale croissants at breakfast
Dog allowed in dining room - pulling dress under table and trying to jump up for food
Bed dipped BADLY when got in
Linen on bed too small, so came off in night
Pillow like concrete
Tried to overcharge, but I had price confirmation, and only paid that
I accept that low price meant "cheap and cheerful but this was awful.

Greatest value for price I found around Senegal. I highly recommend this structure. The stuff is very kind and accomodating.

great quite location with lovely staff, homely feel and very pleasant swimming pool. The graden is beautiful and peaceful, food was also delicious.
Get on a boat and see the national park full of Pelicans and other birds, also spotted a iguana.
Breakfast could be improved significantly, also add fresh fruit juices to the menu.

Very nice breakfasts and dinners, very pleasant and helpful staff
Wifi in the room would be nice

Quiet and nice place, amazing pool. The staff is chatty and more than accommodating for visitors
Confusion about communications from Booking.com that didn't inform the hotel that I was entitled to a breakfast (although it was clear in the confirmation e-mail I received). In the end, they agreed to give me breakfast at no extra cost. Booking.com only include the VAT tax and forgot the tourism tax, which I paid for cash.

Friendly staff but poor service.
No water, I stayed for 2 days and I couldn't take propre shower.
I explained the issue to the staff but nothing was done to fixe this.
Manager not available
Fan didn't work ( broken) I had to ask for an alternative solution
Mosquitoes net issues, they had to fix when I arrived
The staff is friendly and tried to help but the hotel facilities and the management are horrible
