Passable

Breakfast was due from 7.30, so for people who plan to leave early it is unavailable, they don't even provide package substitute. Bearing in mind that this is a border town, most travelleres must have chosen the place for its closeness to other countries. The town itself does not have any places where to have a meal, so be prepared to nave your own or to rely on the supermarket. Bear in mind that there is no fridge in the room and no fridge in the whole pension The biggest disadvantage is that we couldn't connect to the internet, or rather the rooter was not responding and there was no-one to fix it.

A good place to explore Lindau

A spacious room, free parking nearby. Good breakfast. The receptionist helped us with tips for dinner places.

There was construction going on around the building. Not much they could do about it but the view from the balcony was not the best because of it.

Nice, clean rooms, walk yo lake boden directly from the hotel in five minutes, lovely views!

Area around the hotel is closing down / kind of shoddy and, not very well maintained.

Super lovely owners

Super lovely place! Really clean and nice, delightful breakfast and the nicest owners who took care of us really nicely. About 2 min walk from the Bodensee so in great location too!

Sometimes first impressions are incorrect.

Room #33 was updated and very clean and bright . Nice compact WC with good shower,water pressure and toiletries. Balcony was nice but directly on busy roadway with bridge construction close by . Bed was comfortable. The fan in the room was a great benefit . Staff was helpful and friendly . Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The breakfast room was comfortable and although dated very clean and bright . Good WiFi in room and throughout the pension. Along Bodensee bike trail .

initial impression when approaching pension was less than comforting . Facade and reception could definitely use an update . However the room itself was much nicer than the first impression downstairs . No secure bike storage available . Just a side yard with a hedge around part and a low wooden gate which can be locked with a padlock .

Room clean and comfortable. Adequate off-road parking. Large balcony for viewing local area

Late check-in availability. Not a lot to see or do in the immediate area as road works dominate the nearby bridge reconstruction .

Excellent value for money friendly pension in good location

We came for the Opera and chose this pension for value for money and location - close to Bregenz. It is situated between Lindau and Bregenz so is super easy with bikes or with public transport - train/bus is also good, or if you can also walk (bring swimmers and swim on the way!) . Only a few minutes walk down to the lake shore - a bonus being it is a very quiet area on the lake. The room was spacious with a balcony - its situated on a fairly busy road opposite the rather quirky old checkpoint - but at night noise was not a problem even with the windows open. The breakfast was excellent - better than a 4 star we stayed in Lake Garda - with smoked salmon, eggs, nice bread , yogurts and plenty fo fresh fruit. A lovely friendly pension, its cosy and a great spot for exploring.

Perfect Bregenz weekend on the lake

The balconies were very nice. And the proximity to the Bodensee (5 minutes by foot) was awesome. It was also perfect to be 15 minutes by bike from both Bregenz and Lindau.
