Superb heritage property. Some of the temples and structures on the property are worth visiting even if you're not staying there. Beautiful manicured gardens.
Facilities are heritage and preserve the original style. Please understand what you're booking, don't expect a TV or fancy gadgets.

It was a very relaxing setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. How many hotels have their own cenotaphs/temples - fabulous ! Very nice room with a heritage feel. Loved the peacocks in the grounds and the huge bats at night. Breakfast was good and omelettes/waffles prepared on demand.
The boy in reception offered to get us drinks in the evening. Due to Independence Day he was unable to get us alcohol, however he charged us 1100 rupees for a couple of bottles of Fanta/sprite that I’m sure would cost 25% of this cost in the market - feel a bit cheated by this. Are the hotel aware this is happening ?

Inside approach that is reaching the reception or walking the muddy paths to the room , height of the beds, lights in room all not working , stale stuff in the refrigerator of the room .

Every thing about the property, the food & the service by staff. It's a calming place to spend a couple of days where peacocks are forever entertaining you.
Best part..no TV in the room & no room service.
We were there to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday & it was perfect. She absolutely loved everything from the moment we arrived.
It's got 7 rooms & 4 suites. Images on their website are exactly what you get to see in person.

The property is just beautiful, nestled in a lot of greenery with so many birds. The staff was extremely courteous and helped us at every step of the way. Meal options were limited but cooked really well. We asked for non spicy food and they made almost 'home cooked' meals which was amazing. We had an awesome time with family at Neemrana Deo Bagh. Would highly recommend the property if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful break.

The location, staff, property, food was all great!
There were tooo many email messages from the property. I must have received over 20 welcoming me, that we were awaited, about our stay. It is very annoying.

Everything was great, from welcome to goodbye.
The location is a dream place, elegant and fine, it's an oasis of peace and calm but not far from the city.
The garden, with peacocks walking around, and temples, is beautiful
The room is a treat itself. Everything you need is there.
Staff is very professional and friendly.
Food is also great and the restaurant offers dishes for any preference.

excellent property with very serene and scenic ambience. the peacocks in the property add to the allure of the stay. very courteous staff, and a very helpful manager who helped us with early checkin. overall a great stay abd would recommend for anyone travelling to Gwalior.

The receptionist is really the best, whatever I asked or needed, he organized it like a magician. It was all so easy and quick whenever I expressed what I needed (transport, train tickets, etc)

Quaint and has some historical value. But maintained in a slipshod manner. Neemrana is slipping.
Poor maintenance, cleaning, linen and towels, no upgrading of the ancient shower, and boring food offerings, especially the teatime pakodas - we got the same pakodas 4 days in a row! Chef did not know how to cook Thai green curry! Altogether disappointing. And, oh God! no wi-fi. Thank God we had our back-up. The saving grace is the staff, who try and make up for the disappointment with their good service.

The place is just superb and the set up takes you back in time , small cosy 15 rooms property and the staff goes out a long way to make your stay comfortable
The room alloted to us was a non smoking , but the previous guest was smoking like a chimney and the stench was so pathetic that the whole room was stinking of smoke smell till next day .
Request the management to look in to enforcing a strick NON SMOKING

Lovely heritage hotel with bungalow-like rooms surrounding a garden. Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. Well-preserved, ornately-carved temples right within the hotel property. Very nice restaurant overlooking the garden.
No beer or wine served at the restaurant. If the hotel had a bar, I would have nothing to complain about.

Property is beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. The gardens are lush and great for early morning or late evening walks. The peacocks roaming freely around the property are the real stars.
The staff are very polite, helpful and attentive.
The rooms are just the right size. Authentic old style furniture but still quite comfortable.
They have good wifi but 4G signal is strong anyway so no big deal.
Although the indian breakfast with local dishes is excellent, the general food menu could be updated and improved - quite honestly it’s not up to the mark of other Neemrana properties.

Deo Bagh is a heritage hotel ideally located in Gwalior. The rooms are detached from each other, all have a front patio and a rear terrace, which overlooks a well-maintained garden. The grounds are a delight to walk. The are a handful of historic temples right on the property, which guest may explore. Some of the temples have exquisitely preserved stone carvings.
A beer would have been nice with dinner but the hotel does not serve alcohol.
