the attention to detail was fantastic, a very calm and quiet location. the room/place was also very clean. the amenities are great and the breakfasts - amazing (and homemade!). the hosts had some great recommendations and were always happy to help where they could. good proximity to lots of places in the itria valley!

More of a suggestion than a complaint: Given the secluded nature of the property it would be nice to have a small coffee or tea machine in the room.

Everything. The owners, Marie Stella and Giovanni the loveliest people. They warm, hospitable, helpful and genuinely want you to enjoy Puglia. I especially like being close to Ostuni without having the hassle of the crowds.

We had read the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised by this place. The pictures don't do it justice, it's simply beautiful. If you are looking for an immaculately clean, nicely and tastefully decorated, very tasty breakfast (my favourite part was how each morning we had something different tailored to our taste), comfortable and good standard rooms, a peaceful place where to switch off and enjoy nature, and very friendly hosts that treat you like family, then choose la Vecchia Tabbacheria. We'll be back for sure if you are back in Ostuni. Thank you for everything
