Very nice host who picked us up at the lokal Mini market. Appartement was very clean with fresh fruits on the table. Our host could help us with a medical problem but therefore we were not able to try the recommended Restaurant.

Very large apartment with new cuisine, bright veranda, washing machine available, parking outside available

We decided to leave the apartment after one night due to cigarette smoke smell covered by heavy air freshener. This was force majeure given that we were staying in the house with a baby. Host reaction was very rude and confrontational, bordering harassment. He did not recognise the bad smell, said it was an excuse, offered to bring friends to testify against us, accused us of lying and of disrespecting him and Greece (!). Based on our conversation and his reactions, it seems it is not the first time that guests leave his apartments due to poor quality and this is why he (mis)uses the no-refund policy. In fact, no-refund was the only option when booking the accommodation. In the end, he charged our credit card for the entire planned stay (4 nights!). Appealed to Booking.com and hoping for a refund. Terrible experience.

Overall, the place is very comfortable for a 2-3 nights stay. The village around is pleasant and quiet. The bed was very comfy and I had a perfect sleep. Definitely a positive surprise after initial sour phone communication experience.

The appartment was different from the one shown on pictures. It was misleading and booking should take care of this. The initial phone contact with a cocky host was anything but pleasant. Fortunately, his wife who met us was most friendly and pleasant person. The appartment was not cleaned at 3pm - declared check in time.

Not far from Zakros gorge (beautiful!!!). There were fruits when we arrived. You can visit nice places that are near.

Awful smell in the bathroom!! :-/ Everything in the apartment is old.
