Shearwater has room for 10, so bring the kids and grandchildren. The main level includes the kitchen, dining, living room with a sleeper sofa and master suite with jetted tub. Hickory cabinets, myrtle wood floors and trim, tile floors and Berber carpet throughout the home. Upstairs includes a full bath, 2 bedrooms, one with a private balcony, both with queen size beds. Downstairs is a 4th bedroom, hall bath, Jacuzzi changing room, family room with 2 sofa sleepers, secondary dining area, futon sofa sleeper with a high quality mattress, and an away room with a fireplace, TV, and 4 by 8 pool table. The Jacuzzi room is off the first floor deck. Your private beach access is immediately in front of Shearwater. Come and stay, relax and play. While not ADA compliant, the main level is wheelchair friendly. Shearwater has parking for 5 vehicles and a local staff available when needed. Within a 15 mile radius: Within a 15 mile radius you have access to an aquarium and two light houes, three 18-hole golf courses, factory outlet shopping and a casino. Deep sea fishing and whale watching excursions at Depoe Bay. An excursion on a zodiac boat with a whale biologist gets you about as close to a whale as anyone will.

This place was great! It's right on the beach with a path through the backyard to the sandy beach. Lots of rooms, a hot tub, pool table, and extra space all around. The huge dining room table was really great for all 16 of us. We would definitely come back. The owner was particularly helpful and consciences. Loved it!

Shearwater was a great place for our group of 7 ladies. Plenty of room, we each had our space! Huge table for meals and games, awesome decks, easy beach access, very well stocked kitchen, and clean hot tub with a view. It was a perfect stay!

This house was beyond perfect for our group of 9, which was initially suppose to be 14 and would have still comfortably fit all of us. We all were able to sit at the dinner table for meals and look out over the ocean that was within a short walking distance. The sun was shining, which made the experience that much better! The owner was very kind and helpful! We will be booking again for sure!!

It was perfect for us. There were stairs, but that made it more interesting! The host built this home...really well! Main level was perfect for our gatherings. The lower level was awesome...pool table and games! We loved it...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this home. It is a great place for me to bring my family to, and we have started building memories there. The home fits my family just right, and the ocean right out the back door is just what we were looking for. A little disappointed that the cleaning fee is no longer refundable, that extra money shortens our stay a little. But the house is great, and micheal does a great job with it.

This 3 story house was perfect for our family get away. Michael was gracious amd installed baby gates for us, making us feel more at ease with the little one. The beach here was a hit with lots of agates to be found. The home was well stocked for a large group but if you're a baker, take your own pans as these were well used. I recommend this home and would definitelybook again.

The carpets were very dirty and stained as well as all funiture. The windows all had very much black mold and most were so wet and foggy between panes of glass that you could not see the ocean through them. The hot tub was broken and owner said he could fix but was not able to. The dishwasher leaked and the microwave continued running even after the time stopped, making it necessary to unplug it in order to safely remove the food. The top most balcony has rotten boards so everyone be soooo careful not to walk out on it. The owner was so nice so i feel horrible saying these things but we payed so much money that i wish i had back. And very much wish we had stayed somewhere else.

This home has ocean views throughout and 3 levels of decks to hang out on to enjoy the sound of the sea. Our group of ladies loved this house. There is lots of room and plenty of beds and bedding. The property owner was very responsive.

Michael has some known problems at his rental to say the least. Upon arrival Michael the host, cleaning lady and home owner insisted the door code and entry instruction was sent 3 times in prior emails and the instructions were on page 4 of the rental agreement. Only problem was that the Rental agreement only has 2 pages. Michael was quick to respond and chastise me about the access code and the rental agreement and how I had gotten it 3 times, Michael was

Wonderful stay at the Shearwater and we will be coming back! Excellent location, right on the beach. Home is dated with some deferred maintenance, but no issues during our stay. Owner Michael was kind and very responsive.

Property is a good value for a large family. Easy beach access with awesome tide pools. Kitchen is well-equipped. Windows and doors need screens to allow fresh air thru. Suggest replacing air filters throughout. Overall was a relaxing weekend.

Beautiful ocean views! Best equipped house we have ever stayed at! (Most places say they sleep 12, but actually have plates and chairs for only 6) This home had PLENTY of dishes, HUGE dining table that fit 15 of us! Plenty of beds with enough sheets, blankets and pillows to go around. Our kids with disabilities appreciated bathroom rails and bath bench. Only main floor would be wheelchair accessible. Lots of stairs. Access to beach is right out the back door. Very convenient for able-bodied folk, but the dirt path was steep and challenging for ours who use crutches. But the owner is VERY attentive. He came in person to fix the grill. He plans to upgrade the beach path to make it more accessible. He was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely Excellent stay!

We walked to the river every morning and evening, an easy block away. The house was good for nine of us. No ice maker, so buy a bag when you get supplies.

The view was absolutely beautiful. The property was nice but definitely in need of some upgrades and a good deep cleaning. The decks had some loose boards on the railings. The path to the beach is very narrow and the stairs down on to the beach had no railing which was hard to navigate with small children. Most of the windows and sliding glass doors had no screens and the hot tub had sand un the bottom. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a fabulous time.

Our group of adults from two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shearwater. The house is very spacious, clean, and well-appointed (though you should bring your own shampoo and bath soap). It is right on the beach, with a short and easy access from the house to the sand. We could sit in the living room, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, and pool table room and look out at the waves. (This was especially nice because it rained constantly through the weekend we were there.) There is a dramatic short hike at the south end of the beach, and a short drive south will take you to Fogarty Bay for tidepooling. We usually stay at a different house each year, but we might actually come back to Shearwater.

We had a family get together and this was the perfect spot! Close to everything! House was on the beach with its own access! Owner was very friendly and took great care of us! I couldn't have asked for more! We will definitely be back soon!

This house was perfect for our sisters vacation! Through the miracle of ancestry DNA we discovered each other and finally met at this amazing location. There was 4 of us. We each had our own room. Beds were comfortable. The house has so much space! We loved all the different decks, the beach access, the hot tub and had so much fun playing pool while enjoying the fireplace and the music on the stereo. The kitchen was stocked with any dishes or utensils you could possibly need. We were blessed with 3 days of sunshine and whales right in front of the house! We would definitely rent this house again! Thank you Michael for an amazing stay!
