The property seemed to be under renovation maybe. Loose wood, detached garage doors, detached sliding laundry room doors, missing cabinets in guest bathroom, bottom porch is not enclosed like online pic, loose stone, loose cinder blocks, dirty floors when we arrived and there were Roaches! The uncovered electrical outlets and electrical wires worried me the most! We chose this property over the one directly across the water canal because is was nicer from looking at the pictures. It was more expensive but we thought it would be worth it. We were wrong! I have pictures if you would like to see so no more renters will be disappointed. This property was worth about half of what we paid. I think we should at least get half of our payment back for the inconvenience. Thank you

Overall, we loved the quietness of the neighborhood and the house was nice and tidy and pre-stocked with all the pots/pans/utensils you could ever dream of...but when walking up the front steps on the first landing in the dark upon our arrival, I thought we were going to fall through the porch. Those boards were super soft and we tried to walk around them throughout the duration of our stay. I did appreciate the contactless check in and key retrieval. Immediately upon walking in, I was hit with so many different “cute-sy” fragrance smells that I had an asthma attack. I had read a review that the master bath was unfinished during another guest’s stay and it still is unfinished. My fiancé wanted so badly to finish the tile job and it drove him nuts any time he walked in. 😅 The pieces of the sectional were not actually put together and I promptly figured that out after attempting to sit on one of the corners and the two pieces separating on me. Talk about near heart attack. 😂We also had issues with the exterior doors. They were older and either stuck or off track. The screen front one would lock us in and we had issues trying to get out, any time it got shut. Then we could only get one of the back doors to slide open. Besides those things, we really loved it and would highly recommend.

large spacious home. the owner doing some remodeling so not quite perfect in every way, but a real great location. we called it the "camp house", i think one time a charter fisherman's place. nice working fire place. spacious functioning kitchen. large porch.

Before I could leave a comment about our stay, I had to speak with the other 5 guests that was there with me. According to them and myself, it was one of the nicest places we've stay at. The house was so nice and the decor was spot on. There were plenty of things to do and the owner made sure the house was fully stocked with linen and towels. The pantry was stocked with items left over from previous guests which was mostly what we needed. I only wished we waited to go buy groceries before we checked in. Probably could've saved a few bucks. The kitchen was up to date with all the utensils, pots, dish detergent and anything else you needed. The master bedroom (that's where I slept) was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was fully stocked. The 2nd bedroom was just as nice as the master and the 3rd bedroom was so big and roomy no one was crowded. The daybed had a twin bed underneath and the bunk bed had a full and twin. The living room area was ginormous and I loved the high ceiling. The back deck was the show topper. There was plenty of seats and the view was breathtaking. The boat dock was just what we need to get our fishing on. Although we're not anglers and all the shrimp bait we had was a gift to the wildlife in the water, we thoroughly enjoyed the time we shared. The owner advised of the crap trap at the boat dock which we took total advantage of. We managed to catch 4 blue crabs and my aunt caught a fish. That fact that she screamed so loud all the neighbors came out to see what had happened was the highlight of the trip. We are city folks and fishing is nothing we do regularly but truly enjoyed every second we shared with each other and at the house.

Nice place to stay
We enjoyed the property, it was a nice place to stay. Plenty of parking, neighbors were friendly. We brought a boat with us, there is a ramp in the community, which made life easy. We would stay again!

Great location! All space was really laid out well. Kitchen was exceptional. Not tech savvy so Thanksgiving weekend and trying to navigate tv was challenging and a little frustrating. Got it sort of worked out before we left. At least we weren't completely sitting staring at family on the LONG holiday weekend. Didn't want to disturb contact on the holiday to try and gain access to parades, football, etc. broadcast on regular tv. Younger visitors would probably not have any issues if you have Netflix accounts and other digital streaming capabilities. I will DEFINITELY try and rent again later. Will need to get brought up to speed on digital tv, first, though. Perfect quiet lot with great access to fishing.
