The view was lovely. All i can say sorry
The driveway is a dirt track which is extremely bumpy about 1/3 of a mile long,We was greeted with a gate and a 1 in 3 hill pathway you have to leave your car at the top of the hill.very very slippy when it rains... your cabin is very basic the oven is not the best,so we went out for food to a local 4 miles away. There was cobwebs all over the place, and dusty, and deer skulls decorations,On the walls. It was dry but very very basic the cupboards in the kitchen area was made out of metal......no we would not go back, it is a small cabin with with a mezzanine floor suitable for small children only for head hieght........... like i say fantastic view.... iam sorry for this review but iam only being honest

The lodge was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. Tracey, the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great one. The lodge is easy to find and located in a beautiful scenic spot but not too far from local attractions & amenities. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

Great location but still close to everything. Lovely views and quiet surroundings…..

Location was fantastic.
Mezzanine could do with more ventilation - it was an official heatwave weekend but those are going to become more common. Rest of lodge was fine.

Had really great time, nice and peaceful, only the deer & bats for company of an evening. One piece of information we were given was to bring a torch I would whole heartily agree with that! Kids had a fab time as the area of the lodges is gated and the front of the properties are grassed. Fun was had by all!

Warm. Very comfy beds. Feeling of isolation yet close to Ironbridge. Light and airy wood clad interior. Elevated position.
Lack of bedroom lighting for reading in bed.

A great place to stay with kids. We didn’t let them up the ladders to the mezzanine level as it felt too dangerous but they loved their ground floor room and it meant they settled to sleep well as we were downstairs anyway. The location is beautiful, waking up to gorgeous birdsong everyday and being able to walk into the villages was great. Tracy was a great host and very helpful!

Location was perfect. Very cosy and comfortable
One and only suggestion replace the kettle please other than that everything was spot on

Cute cabin, short walk away from the town - walking not suitable for those who have mobility issues as on a hill.
Everything we needed for the weekend - was clean and homey
If you like fancy, this is not fancy. But you have everything you need.

Everything was perfect we had a truly lovely relaxing time, just what the doctor ordered. The cabins are just beautiful, very comfy bed great bathroom and facilities, the hosts were exceptional told us of the local walks which we loved both days down into town, they even bought us firelighters when we couldn’t light our bbq!
The icing on the cake was a baby deer walking directly past our cabin whilst we enjoyed our morning cuppa! Will definitely be returning!
Nothing.

Lovely little lodge with adequate facilities for a weekend away. Comfortable clean beds, a nice little mezzanine with sleeping facilities for children. Ample pots, pans, glasses, mugs cutlery etc and a great spot for a walk into Ironbridge.
The DUST, the cobwebs inside the curtains when I closed them, the dirty fridge, the dirty outdoor table, the pet hair all over the outdoor seats despite a no pets policy(I brushed this off and turned the cushions over), the dirty windows, the untidy grounds, weeds in the stones at the entrance, missing bark from the beds so the plastic is all showing, unswept steps and decking, the very dim light bulb in the bathroom. The screw missing in the curtain rail above the door making it lopsided. All silly little things that could easily be put right. These could be fantastic lodges I feel they have been somewhat neglected as I have visited before; what a shame. Also during these times with Covid 19 the cleaning should be enhanced not neglected.

Stunning views and an ideal location for walking and exploring Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge. A cozy and secluded cabin well equipped and perfectly presented.
