4 Tage Urlaub direkt am Wolfgangsee

Die Lage des Hotels ist sensationell! Es befindet sich nur 3 Gehminuten von der Schafbergbahn und der Schiffanlegestelle "St.Wolfgang Schafbergbahn" entfernt. Parken kann man kostenlos am Hoteleigenen Parkplatz (Achtung sehr schmaler Parkplatz! ) Der Hoteleigene Seezugang befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel, hierfür muss man nur die Straße überqueren. Liegen und SUP können kostenlos genutzt werden! Auch die Sauna im. Hotel kann kostenlos in Anspruch genommen werden. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und recht flott beim Frühstücksservice. Das Abendessen im á la Carte Restaurant haben wir nur einmal in Anspruch genommen - trotzdem toller Service!

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, speziell im Restaurant hat uns nicht überzeugt. Verglichen mit anderen Restaurants im Ort gab es für unseren Geschmack zu wenig Auswahl auf der Karte und auf der anderen Seite war das Essen dann auch nichts besonderes, was den Preis widerspiegelen sollte. Bei anderen Hotels dieser Preiskategorie hat man die Minibar auch inkludiert, hier leider nicht. Die Parkplatzsituation ist fürchterlich! Da kann jedoch weniger das Hotel etwas dafür, denn einige andere Hotelgäste parken sich teilweise über 2-3 ohnehin schon sehr schmalen Parkplätze, sodass man bei späterer Anreise oder Ankunft von einem Ausflug schon froh sein muss, einen freien Platz zu finden. Hier könnte das Hotelpersonal etwas dahinter sein, dass eine Ordnung am Hof herrscht!? Sonst könnte ich nur noch das Badezimmer kritisieren, das etwas schmal war - gibt aber schlimmeres.

We loved absolutely everything. We arrived by bus from Bad Ischl, hotel is 1 min walk from it as well, it is also clause to the ferry port and train that goes to the mountain (hiking trail also starts there). City center is 10-15 mins walk away which was more than. Very nice and friendly reception. Room is clean, quiet, has nice interior, everything necessary provided, amazing balcony with LAKE (and parking) view - we were not supposed to have any view so no problem here. Comfy bed. Breakfast is good quality with many healthy options, nothing exceptional, but very decent. Hotel's beach is great, we were swimming, took a boat and used paddleboard. Bikes are provided free of charge too and we had a ride to the other side, unfortunately not possible to do the full circle around the lake :'( Hotel Sauna is amazing too. It has been an amazing stay!

Prices are really high in the area, but hotel deserves every euro spent :)

A great stay with a view

Located directly at the Wolfgangsee - historic hotel with renovated, refurbished and modern rooms (we booked a sea view room with balcony). The room style reflects the Alpes Region. Extremely friendly and helpful staff even at late night arrival.

Availability of parking lots is limited.

bad service, breakfast was very cold I stay for 2 night’s

nothing there is a better hotels near to the with front view on the lake with swimming pool and spa.

‏There is actually nothing in the place, the reception staff were very rude. Asking for more money than in the reservation on booking . Also no one helps with luggage and breakfast was cold nothing to eat just bread and cheese with jam and honey.

Friendly staff, great location with a beautiful view, direct access to the lake.

Breakfast was yummy with a wide selection of food and great coffee. Friendly staff, location was great, beautiful and spacious room with a great view, interior and also robes :). There were paddle boards which clients could use and great garden with sunbeds and direct access to the lake. Definitely would come back.

A perfect stay in St. Wolfgang

My wife and I booked this hotel for our marriage in St. Wolfgang. We booked 4 rooms for 7 people and a dog. Our stay was absolutely exceptional and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Our rooms were fantastic with a view to the lake. Each room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and the check-in was smooth and easy. Our pre-requests for specific beds were met and each one of us received the exact room we wanted. Breakfast was rich with plenty of tables available both indoors and outdoors. My brother and brother in law loved the Sauna and the private beach and my parents enjoyed the silence and peacefulness. Parking was available on site throughout our stay which was also great. The hotel has its own restaurant as well as plenty of other restaurants near by. Overall it was a great stay that enabled us to have a perfect wedding. We highly appreciate the service we received and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Wolfgang.

There's really nothing to say, everything was perfect. All our requests were met, everyone was nice and flexible and even when we were slightly delayed at check-out, everyone was very patient. I must admit that we were a bit concerned that the hotel will be too simple for our guests but it definitely exceeded our expectations.

Perfect location for a great holiday

Location is superb! What made the stay outstanding is that the staff was making everything so uncomplicated for us: parking super stress-free (even when parking in front of hotel is full, they provide you with an easy Plan B solution); bicycles can be used free of charge as well as stand up paddle boards and small boats

Unfortunately, the fresh towel in the bathroom was covered with other women‘s hair when we arrived. However, everything else was very clean!

Fantastic waterfront hotel Sankt Wolfgang

Visiting for the third time, it is clear that we love this place. Staf is so friendly and supportive, rooms are beautifully designed, food is great and the view from the terrace and the beachgarden is unbeatable.

Perfect Idyll at St Wolfgang

The staff were great, always smiling and always helpful. The views were perfect, and the balcony was huge, with an inviting and comfortable lounger. The room was big and wonderfully designed and decorated.

Well, it cannot be helped. The restaurant, of course, is in front of the hotel with direct views on the lake. So if you want a room with direct views on the lake, your room will be above the restaurant. I always travel with earplugs, so it was only a minor inconvenience for me.

Great Long weekend

Everything was really clean and modern. We had a room with lakeview and balcony. Breakfast was also delicious. Staff was very friendly. Our minibar didn’t work and was replaced on the next day. The house had at that time problems with cable tv but we received a bottle of wine and a book as compensation and we weren’t there for watching tv anyways. The private „beach“ was great, lots of couches to lie on and free stand-up paddles. I would gladly come back.
