The location is excellent. The staff in great. The rooms are super cozy and cute. The balconies have views to the Meteora rocks. What else is left to say?

the prices are more expensive than everywhere else in Macedonia. even for breakfast.

Cozy little place with scenic panorama right at the bottom of the mountain. I would definitely choose again!
I cannot say anything negative! :)

Gorgeous location at the bottom of Meteora, comfortable clean rooms and friendly staff.
Breakfast was 7.5€ extra for a simple buffet with limited offer. If I come back I will skip it and get breakfast in town instead.

The balcony was big and we could sit out and enjoy the fantastic view of Meteora. We were at the top of the village so it was lovely and quiet. It was an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of town where there were lots of good places to eat and drink. The breakfast provided next door was buffet style with a good selection of items to suit most tastes and the staff at the other hotel were friendly and helpful.
We never saw Elena during our 3 day stay which we found a very odd way to run a business. Especially as the toilet in our room blocked on the second day and we had to get help from the hotel next door to rectify it. We still never saw Elena even after this. Also I booked a twin room with view as advertised on Booking.com but we were told by Elena's daughter when we arrived that there were only doubles with views. This should be made clear during the booking process. These issues made our stay less enjoyable and for these reasons I can't recommend Elena's Guesthouse.

It is amazing to wake up with Metheora views.
The place feels surreal.
The room was very cosy and clean.
The host is really friendly.
Nothing really

The air conditioner worked very well. The windows were modern.
The shower could be updated. Its said to be a modern rain shower with jets but not all jets worked and it looked old.
No interaction with the staff other than to check we had paid.

Balcony with sunshine.
Dark room and hotel, toilette was stink, no kettle and coffee/tea in the room. It's a bit disappinting. Okay stay but won't go back again.

nice room and excellent location at the start of the path with a great view.
we booked last minute and they didn't even know we were arriving. they said they didn't have any room available at first. the accommodation was more expensive than the average of the area despite my genius discount. it was selected because of some filters such as private parking, washing machine and bath, but nothing among those was available. would not spend the money again.

confortable, very spacious, very clean, very close to the trails

Good location, view of the rock forms as well as very close to a hike up to one of the Monasteries.
The room was spacious and had a jacuzzi bath. Nice balcony with a great view!

Great location to start the hike towards the Holy trinity monastey. Very large room with cosy balcony.
The hostess wasn't always available as she was running two hotels at once. She is extremely friendly though and offers help when needed (she called to order pizzas).

dirty sheets and over priced for what it was

Location, location, location. The guest house is right up against the rock pillars in the town of Kalambaka. Very quiet neighborhood, except for a few neighbor dogs, but that is to be expected in a friendly neighborhood. Elena and family are very friendly. Just minutes drive from the Meteroa. Easy to leave your car parked at the guest house and walk ten minutes to town with it's numerous shops including lovely outdoor tavernas, luscious bakeries and coffee shops, although plenty of street parking downtown. Don't pass up visiting the Byzantine Orthodox Church: St. Vissarion which you pass heading into town from the guest house. I opened at 09:00 while we were there.

Charming room, near hiking trail to St. Stephens. easy parking out front. Hostess was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat, how to visit monasteries.
nothing that bothered us but it did not have a lift and it is a walk into town for those on foot.

Clean room with a beautiful view on Meteors.
We booked a room with a double bed, but got two single beds.
There were no towels.

Fantastic location, ideally situated for walking in the Meteora. Traditional style but with a touch of luxury. Spacious room with large, comfortable bed and wine glasses included!
The weather was awful for most of the day, and that, if course, can't be helped, but it does colour your view of a stay. The advertised extras (packed breakfasts/lunches) didn't seem to be available, perhaps because it's the end of the season.

Very good bed. Nice bath. Very close to Meteora and also the city centre and good parking possibilities
Even though a kitchenette and a washing machine was announced none of those were available just a washing service in the next guesthouse which was a bummer as we planned to wash our stuff in the middle of the trip

I was not able to find washer, but it is listed in the facilities

Very characterful and spacious room. Close to walking path up to one of monasteries. Not too far to walk to the main shops in town.
We booked this place for the view and our room view was mostly a tree and not the rocks in the main pictures. Bit disappointing. Outside lighting did not work, so was very dark sitting on balcony after sunset. Location can be hard to find.

First of all, the location is super super nice, the view from our window was breathtaking! The room was also cozy and it was decorated very nicely. It has all you need - big king double bed, bathroom, a terrace, refrigerator.
The only drawback is that it wasn’t perfectly clean, but I have to admit for sure I cannot say that it was dirty! Also, the personnel was not speaking very good English but we understood each other anyway. No breakfast is included, however this is visible in your booking info.

It is a great place - close to a path to the Holy Trinity Monastery, which can be reached in about an hour (or less) by foot.
Also, they arranged a good tour of all the other monasteries for me. They also allowed me to check out late, which was very convinient!

The house looks very autentic and pretty.
The personal was not that welcoming was even feeling unconfortable to ask quedtions regarding visiting touristic places.

The room was not very big but it was clean, in very good condition and had all the necessary facilities.
The view was amazing.

Booked a family room for 4. The room turned out very small with one double bed and 2 single beds. We could only open 1 luggage at any one time. The room was really dark with some bulbs blown n not working. The floor was really dusty especially under the beds. It said to have ‘garden view’ but all we saw were the neighbour’s rooftops. They even stocked up half used shower gel for us in the toilet!! Though it is only a 10min walk to the centre, you will need to pass through construction areas and quiet residences. Not sure if it’s really safe to walk in the nights. With the money we paid, we could have gotten a much larger apartment and even nearer to the centre.

Bathroom was big and clean including hydromassage. Bed was comfortable and it had a lovely balcony with views straight to the Meteora rocks
Breakfast was offered upon arrival and described as "a very good breakfast". It was in fact really poor and charged us 15€ per both of us!! Incredibly overpriced. Bread slices not toasted, juice as you can get from.any supermarket (not natural)... You are better of having breakfast in one of the local bars better and more food and cheaper.
Elena, the owner, is as wierd as someone can get. Quite awkward and pushy to get you in one of the tours she advertises.
