Increible

Nos encantó!!! El hotel es muy lindo, limpio, tranquilo. Los que trabajan ahí son lo máximo! Todos muy atentos y simpáticos, nos atendió Wilson Godoy que fue lo mejooor! El desayuno increible, son tan atentos que si tienes un tour temprano, te hacen desayuno antes. Lo mejor es que te hacen sentir en casa, volveremos si o si!! Cata y Joaquín

Maravilhosa!

Tudo otimo!! Me senti em casa!! Lugar super charmoso e agradável, bem cuidado, todos atenciosos, cafe da manha delicioso!

Poderia ser um pouquinho mais proximo da Caracoles, mas nada mt distaste também. 10-15 minutos de caminhada e você chega no centrinho.

De gezamenlijke ruimtes zijn comfortabel en prettig van sfeer. Het ontbijt is super verzorgd en dankzij het goede reisbureau waar ze mee samenwerken hebben wij super trips in de omgeving kunnen maken. Ondanks dat wij een aantal verbeter punten hebben zouden wij hier meteen weer overnachten, maar alleen als wij een andere kamer zouden hebben.

Het hotel heeft 2 gezichten. Als de manager er is voel je veel energie en zijn dingen voor elkaar. Is de manager er niet, dan word er weinig naar de gast omgekeken. Een voorbeeld. Bij het inchecken krijg je een rondleiding en zie je allerlei dranken, fruit koffie e.d. klaarstaan waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Als de manager er is worden deze bijgevuld, is hij er niet dan blijven de vakken leeg. Kom je in de middag terug van een excursie en je denkt een lekker koud biertje, helaas er staat niets. Biedt het dan niet aan maar verkoop het. Er naar moeten vragen is vervelend. Je komt het hotel binnen via een grote poort. Dan volgt de parkeerplaats en dan loop je via een pad naar de hoofdingang. Naast dit pad liggen verschillende kamers o.a. onze kamer waar iedereen op 2 meter langskomt. In de kamer is geen airconditioning wat wij wisten, dus hier geen kritiek over, maar de van maakt zoveel lawaai dat wij deze niet konden aanhebben in de nacht. Enige optie op enige verkoeling is de schuifdeur open zetten. Dit betekent dat je middag in de nacht eerst wakker wordt door mensen die terug komen uit de stad. Omdat veel excursies al om 5 uur in de ochtend vertrekken, heb je vanaf 4:30 bijna iedere dag mensen die al pratend dicht langs je bed lopen, auto’s starten, touroperators aanbellen om mensen op te halen etc. Dus, als je een kamer bij de ingang hebt en een lichte slaper bent, dan is je nachtrust een issue. Probeer dus altijd een kamer achter de receptie te krijgen.

Wonderful staff and casa!

Lovely staff and quiet location. Nice vibe to this boutique hotel, which feels more like a home away from home.

Slightly further out of town than some other places but then it was quieter which we liked.

One of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at - definitely recommend

This is a great place. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Room was large and nicely appointed. Private patio was great. I never actually had a proper sit down breakfast due to tours but they provided a generous to-go bag. Water was available as was free beer and wine. I used their washer to do laundry and hung clothes to dry. About a 15 min walk to town which was fine - as I recall most if not all was lighted at night. Really can’t say enough good things about this place.

Two minor comments. 1. Temperature of shower water fluctuated from warm to cold to hot etc - you just need to know when to step back 😉 2. There was no dedicated spot to put clothes that you don’t hang. Neither of these are reasons not to stay at this excellent place.

WOW!

The location is a little out of the main part of town but walkable. Although we generally do not eat breakfast, we did because it was plentiful and delicious. The charm of the hotel is the beauty of the common areas, the comfort of the rooms, and the lovely people running he hotel. They were super helpful and attentive to our needs and very helpful with tours and helping us know what activities could be done on our own. I would definitely recommend renting a car in Calama to use in Atacama, it gives you a ton more options.

There was nothing to complain about.

Pure paradise

Nice and helpful staff, the room was clean and comfortable!

Lovely staff and helpful, we had an early start to the morning for a tour and they offered to make a little snack pack to make up for not having breakfast at the property which I thought was nice and thoughtful. The room has everything you need!

Simply amazing! You won't regret.

TL;DR: Everything about it was just magical, service, design, location, food, the outdoor area, the room and bathroom, all amazing! Super friendly staff. A true oasis in the middle of the desert. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Casa Solcor during our trip to Atacama, and we cannot say enough good things about it! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive Patricio and his wife, who went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our room was simply stunning, with high spec and standard furnishings that provided a true feeling of luxury and relaxation. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the beautiful bathroom, which was equipped with all the amenities we needed for a truly indulgent stay. The breakfast provided at the hotel was of exceptional quality, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning, a true 5* breakfast and free bottled water too! For those of you who enjoys interior design and decoration, you will absolutely love every aspect of this hotel! Perhaps the most memorable aspect of our stay, however, was the level of support and advice offered by all the staff throughout our visit. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had and provide valuable recommendations on local attractions and activities. This level of service truly made our stay at the hotel even more special, and we would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an exceptional experience in Atacama. Overall, we can only say great things about Casa Solcor, and all the hospitality from Patricio and all the other staff. From the warm welcome to the high spec/standard of the room and the quality of the breakfast, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. A true oasis where the staff made me feel at home.

This property is beautiful- on a secluded plot of land slightly outside the city center (about 10-15 mins walk). Every single staff member from the owners to the kitchen staff, and maintenance were so friendly and helpful. the owners in particular emphasized that “this is your home” and that really sums up the stay. fully stocked kitchen, fridge with free drinks, water fountains, laundry services, and especially personalized attention- they all knew my name which I find rare in a hotel. I liked it so much I even added an extra night to my stay- no problems at all. I highly highly recommend Casa Solcor and only wish I could have stayed longer

There was one night where my heat didn’t work well, but this was fixed immediately by the owner and ensured it wasn’t a problem the next night.

Above and beyond! Would love to visit again

Amazing place! Everything was above and beyond our expectations! There was complimentary snacks and drinks available in the common kitchen area for guests, rooms were excellent, comfy and brand new (incl. usb-c outlets), with toiletries, incl. hand moisturizer. There was breakfast each morning. The place offers free bikes which I used for a long 20km dirt road trip and it handled perfectly. The owner helped us every day with planning out what to visit. I mean there isn't anything we could have asked more for!

wonderful place for a family to stay that had the convenience of a hotel

The family rooms were great configuration and size. Access to the kitchen was great (there were always snacks and drinks available or you could cook something simple). Above all, the staff was very helpful in planning out our days and giving suggestions. Patricio went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and giving us ideas for each day. The location is nice and quiet, but about 7 minutes out of the main streets of town. The rooms and communal areas were extremely clean, modern, and well equipped. It was a wonderful stay.

there is no air conditioning which was not a problem for us but I can see how it may be an issue during the summer.

An oasis in the Atacama desert

We stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. The rooms are big with comfortable beds, the garden and pool area is beautifully curated. The hosts created a familiar vibe and really made us feel at home. And on top of that the whole team went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. Thank you yo the whole Casa Solcor team. We’ll hopefully come again!

Exceptional

Such a relaxing getaway from the main area of San Pedro de Atacama. It honestly looked like a small oasis, with a nice swimming pool and lounge area, as well as a beautiful flower garden out front. There are bikes available for people to use as well. The rooms are small but cozy and have everything you could need. The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is fantastic. However, more than anything else, the staff on site truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When we were in a pinch, they did everything in their power to help us and even went personally out of their way to assist us during a busy time of the year. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Exceptional

The accommodation is cosy and very clean. It has a real homey feel. Our host and hostesses were very accommodating and made sure that we were comfortable. Lunch was even provided for day excursions. Breakfast was excellent. Really good coffee as well.

Lack of air conditioning but then no accommodation in San Pedro seemed to have air conditioning. We had lots of fans though and a big open window to let the cool air in.

Fabulous

A beautiful property with an amazing natural water pool. Loved the cats and dogs roaming the property as we missed our own. The guest house was beautiful and very cosy. Martin was an excellent host/guide giving us many suggestions and tips for our trip. Breakfast was also very satisfying and when we had to get up at 5 am to drive to the geysers they even packed us a breakfast.

Internet was very hit or miss. The bed and pillows were unfortunately not the most comfortable and one morning we had no running water in the bathroom
