The great hospitality of the people working at the hostel is the main thing I will remember about my stay in Conil. Each of the reception staff were extreme helpful and always ready to have a nice chat. Besides good location and convenient parking spot just on the other side of the street. Nice roof terrace. Rooms cleaned every day. If in Conil will for sure try to stay in Al-Andalus! No idea why it has just one star not more.

Hostal muy nuevo, las instalaciones cuidadas y el personal muy amable

Hubo una confusión y pensé que había reservado dos habitaciones dobles para dos personas en cada habitación (4 personas) pero resultó que eran dos habitaciones dobles para una persona en cada una de ellas (2 personas ), raro ¿No?, bueno tras la confusión y el pago de un suplemento todo quedó resuelto. La recepcionista lo hizo muy bien pese a nuestra zozobra inicial. La ducha, en mi caso, resultó algo estrecha pero cumplió su finalidad.

staff should be able to understand English and be able to cope with broken Spanish in such a tourist town

Room very damp. Bathroom terribly small, one overhead light not working, shower leaking. Patio looked like a walled-in prison with a neighbour's bathroom window opening in. Noise from above rooms tremendous. Would not recommend this place for a leisurely comfy stay, only as a bivouac.
