Worst customer service in the entire world

Location

Most horrible customer service we have experienced anywhere in the world. While we were traveling to this location during one of the worst storms in Norway in 25 years, we advised the property that we may get there after check-in time. The instructions provided to check-in were vague. We got there before check-in time, but nobody was available at reception or via call. Upon check-in, we messaged the property that we had to leave early for our train in Flam. We didn’t get any instructions on check-out and again no one was present at reception. We dropped our keys in the express check-out box and assumed they can charge the credit card that was used for booking. We get a message during the day saying we left without paying and threats that they will be contacting the police and also informing all other properties in Norway to make our life miserable. Whoa! We have never been treated like this! We provided a credit card to book and left that information for you to bill is. Horrible. We had to come back to the property and pay manually and did not even receive an apology for all the inconvenience. In addition, the property changed their rules about bedding and harassed about that. The door to the room was not lockable! The room was full of flies and bugs when we got inside.

Comfortable and Great Location

Location and views were stunning. The facilities were warm and comfortable. Easy access to roads and Flåm. Check in/out straight forward. Good cooking facilities. Parking right outside cabin.

Beautiful room in the middle of fjord country! Stunning views of fjords and abundant fresh air.

The location in the middle of a fjord was incredible. Views from the room were exceptional! Well-equipped kitchenette. We wish we could have stayed longer! This was the largest room we booked on our trip and also very charming in new condition.

Lovely cottage at a through Road. Great location.

Nice room with amazing views. Very comfortable and warm. Good location next to a through Road.

The equipement was bare minimum or less. I know it's a cabin for max 3 People. But 3 forks, 2 spoons, 3 knives.... Not even complete.

Wow, it was like being transported into a fairy tail. Every window looked out onto magnificent mountains and waterfalls.

it was great to have a private bathroom and kitchen. it was warm and had everything we needed. The views were mind blowing.

The best place I have ever visited! wonderfully situated, great views. The nicest women on the reception. You can buy coffee, and other stuff. just 10 minutes walk from Viking Town with the ferry through the fjords and with the kayaking place

A lovely stop on our fjord trip

Absolutely stunning setting! Short walk from port, the Viking village right there as well as shop for supplies. We had a very well appointed cabin, spacious clean bathroom, kitchenette with dishes, couple of pots and pans and a microwave! Staff lovely and friendly.

Set aside time for cleaning before checkout - was fine for us but maybe a problem if you are making an early bus?

a lot of noise. hand dryer in public toilets under the bedroom and too hot. very bad night because woke up with each use

This stay has inspired us to do more outings like this. We would return.

This was a charming place to stay with beautiful views and can easily walk to the village and fjord. Also liked the common areas and a place to barbecue. We stayed in the cabins and they were very comfortable and a great value!

The beds were a little worn out and the dishes needed to be rewashed. Not a big deal.

A little expensive but good location. Only 20 min with car to Flåm. The fjord tours goes from Gudvangen also.

The cabin number 2 we booked for four persons had a full kitchen one bedroom with a bunk bed for two persons and one bedroom with a double bed.

Towels and bed clothes seemed a bit expensive to rent and no air conditioning, but this a camping site after all.

Comfortable and clean chalets and good value for money. A perfect location with a perfect view on mountains and numerous waterfalls. A peaceful and quiet setting.
