Our stay here exceeded expectations. Great apartment with fantastic facilities and nice touches. Pool was a complete winner. Host was very helpful and the breakfast was impressive. Walsking distance to everything we needed.

There was nothing more we could have wanted.

A very large comfortable quirky unit under the house which reflected the local sun and surf vibe. Room to move around and relax. Pool, spa and sauna were available for use. The TV was a great size. The hostess was very accommodating, and provided a delicious continental breakfast. The local gluten free bread was delicious. It was an easy walk to town and a shuttle service was also available - except when we needed to arrive at an evening restaurant on time! There was excellent parking in the grounds..

The hot water in the shower was difficult to adjust, and the tiolet plumbing was a little smelly.

the appt has 2 bedrooms, we arrived with 5 instead the indicated 4 persons, 1 child more. demanding eur90 in addition to the already high price for the 2 nights is not fair, in fact we needed only 2x breakfast for 1 person more, a value of in my opinion 2x15= eur 30. we had no addioniinal roon or bed used, 1 adult slept on the sofa. the interior furniture inkl matrasses needs an update (but was clean), the lavabo in the toilet was and is of no use, so small.

great location, a short walk into town. self contained with everything you need and more. Dom was an excellent host, pool, jacuzzi, sauna was a nice addition. secure parking for our motorbikes.

Very comfortable suite in a private home with great outdoor space. It was nice to relax with a separate living area. Lovely bedroom with great bed and linens. The suite was outfitted with every need you could think of. Excellent and beautiful breakfast!

While a short walk into Biarritz it is up and downhill. The tram bus runs till 7:30.

Nice, well equipped place with comfortable bed, pool, infra-sauna, tasty breakfast with some local specialties (the bask cake was delicious). Dominique was nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Biarritz. It is a 15 minutes walk to center, but there is a free shuttle also available until 7.30pm.

Homestyle facilities are above and beyond most hotels. Dominique was a marvellous host...definitely going back 5*

We were able to leave our bags several hours before the official check in time. It is clean, spacious, ten minutes from town and right on the local free bus route. The WiFi and shower are great and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast is good: coffee, toast, croissant, yoghurt, cereal and home made rice pudding but there was no fruit. We did not experience the problem of damp mentioned in other reviews. No members of Dom’s family used the pool while we were at the apartment.

My wife and I stayed at Chez Phil et Dom a month after Dom’s mother died so Dom understandably probably had other things on her mind. That said we still would not book again. We paid a pool apartment price but it did not deliver a pool apartment experience. There is no kitchen or kitchen equipment. There is a kettle and two cups like in a hotel room. There is no fridge and not even plastic glasses to use by the pool. There is no table inside or outside. There is limited seating by the pool though the two sun loungers were enough for us. To be honest we would not have felt comfortable spending the day by the pool. Generally you feel like a house guest rather than a paying customer. There is no information about how anything works in the place and nothing was explained, you are living in the middle of the family’s possessions and activity and the family’s parking and garage are next to the accommodation. Unlike nearly all our booking dot com bookings no effort was made to go the extra mile. The sign over the door to the guest room says “welcome to our home”. It would be better if the attitude to the guests was “welcome to your home”.
