Situated in De Haan, this lovely condo for £143 per night is a great option for your next break. This impressive 90 square-meter holiday home, Strand, is situated on the ground floor of the Golf apartment estate, at the boulevard and just fifteen meters from the beach of De Haan. It offers an impressive panorama view on the North Sea. From the entrance with wardrobe one gets, via the open kitchen, directly to the large living room with lounge, reading and dining area – all with sea view. Through a corridor (with much storage space) which offers access to the toilet and a stylish bathroom, one gets to two beautiful bedrooms. Outside, everything is surrounded by a large terrace of about 100 m2. The large window surface at the sea side enables plenty of sunlight and an impressive view, but stylish shutters create sufficient privacy. - Comfortable Strand has been fully renovated in 2009 and its layout got optimized for use by up to five persons. The holiday home is equipped with all contemporary comfort. The entire apartment has been finished with first-class. The new kitchen has a bar, a refrigerator with freezer and an espresso machine. In the bordering toilet space there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Premium sanitary (like bathing tub, sink and spacious shower), proper ventilation and pleasant heating also bring comfort to the bathroom. The house is well-equipped and has a television, DVD player and wireless internet. Bedlinen and towels are not included. The comfort doesn’t stop at the sliding doors at the boulevard side; the terrace is very large and has foldable glass wind screens. By the way, shops and restaurants don’t disturb the peace but are on walking distance at the same sidewalk and in the nearby center of De Haan. - Stylish The design of Strand is unique – significantly different than what one would typically find in a holiday home. The beautiful interior is the result of professional indoor architecture. Sense of style and eye for detail have made Strand a unity of atmosphere and beauty. The consistently applied Rivièra Maison style in “beach” theme can be described as authentic and natural. The whole house features a massive oak floor, on which one could also go barefoot. At the terrace, one can enjoy the sun, sea and people, possibly – out of the wind – behind the terrace screens. Strand means cosiness and an ultimate beach feeling! - At the beach The location of Strand, directly at the peaceful area of the boulevard, largely determines the ambience of the apartment. The north side offers access to the cosy center of De Haan. At the east side, one just enters the beach right away, for a long walk, sunbathing or a swim in the sea. Historical Flemish cities like Bruges and Gent are nearby and with the coast tram, all villages along the Belgian North Sea coast are easily reachable. Fashionable Knokke and the Oostende marina are worth a visit. Comfortable, stylish and beautifully located. That is how Strand can be summarized. Pure enjoyment at the North Sea coast. Our friends, my husband and I so enjoyed our stay at this property! The apartment was perfect for the 4 of us! We all savored the views from the windows onto the boardwalk. Seeing the sea every day was one of the best parts of the visit! It was the perfect location for exploring De Haan and the other seaside towns. Bruges was an easy distance to visit! Maybe a few more details about getting into the building. We weren't quite sure which button to press for the housekeeper! But we figured it out! Thanks for letting us stay in this property. Wonderful memories!

Located right on the boardwalk. Very carefully decorated apartment that has all needed amenities and houseware for adult, kids and babies. There's no oven ;)

Loved this flat. Outstanding location and very welcoming flat. The host is very helpful and available, and really makes you feel at home. It felt like going to your own place at the seaside and nobody in the family wanted to leave. Beds are very comfortable. Very much hoping to go again soon. Highly recommended. PS. No oven or toaster but otherwise well equipped. :)

We had a lovely short stay in this tastefully decorated apartment. The views from the main front room are stunning and the beach is literally right outside. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice and stylish apartment, exactly as it looks in the listing pictures. Great location right on the pedestrianised beach front, so kids can get a bit of freedom. Easy check-in, and good contacts with the owner. Very well equipped kitchen with good coffee machine. NB you have to supply your own bedlinen and towels - quite far down on the listing, so easy to miss and would be a hassle to forget.

Perfect view! From the apartment you have a great view over the beach. Just cross the boulevard and you are on the beach, it's just a couple meters. There you can lounge at a beachbar, also very close to the apartment. At De Haan there's much to do, especially with young children. There are playgrounds, there is a swimmingpool al SunParcs nearby, a visit to Plopsaland just 45 minutes away... We will come back!

Very nice appartment in front of the sea, you can have action and also a quiet stay at home. You see perfect ships crossing the sea and people walking arround which are very friendly there. Ideal for families, week-end-tours and also for short holidays, there is much too see nearby. Brügge, Oostende and Gent are very nice cities to visit. All in all, a great stay there! roejfop
