We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. Couldn’t have asked for more, and will definitely visit again.

Beautiful bastide and outside dining area very enjoyable under olive trees.

The room was fabulous, food phenominal plus lovely staff. All was calm in the magnificent setting. Loved being able to have a little go on the piano in the evening. A lovely couple moved inside and wanted me to play more but it was quite late by then!
My husband and I wanted to enjoy a swim before breakfast as it was our last morning kept watching for the pool maintenance to be completed. We went down to the pool at 8.30 so it wasn't that early. waited till 9 onwards but still wasn't finished.

The front of house, sorry, did not get his name-was charming and efficient. We ended up booking another night as we liked it so much.
Can’t really be helped but lots of flies on the breakfast area is a bit offputting. Most food was covered but bread etc had flies around.

Location and service
Breakfast a little bit minimalistic

Picturesque location
Slow, borderline rude waiters. Pool opening and closing times, too late in the morning, way too early in the evening.

For breakfast Lactose free milk would be great

It is in an amazing location, very franch type, which was nice
It is a bit dated.
Other than the restaurant, the only place for food was in Aups

The staff were excellent, as was the restaurant and public areas.
However , the room was a big disappointment.
Very small room with little space. En-suite ventilation didn’t work which filled the room with steam and condensation; leaving everything damp.

The 4-bedroom apartment was located away from the main hotel building and was surrounded by a beautiful garden with a private pool (we didn't use it because it was still too cold), barbeque, and many places to sit and relax.
the kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed cooking full meals for 6.
The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had a bathroom. The living room with a huge sofa allowed us to enjoy our evenings together as a family.

Beautiful location and an amazing venue, much better and more atmospheric than the photos - which just can't do it justice! Great staff, an amazing restaurant with brilliant service and an outstanding menu and beautiful, well managed grounds that created a unique atmosphere and an outstanding stay for the whole family!
Nothing really stands out!

1. We bumped up in price for a junior suite and the room was beautiful. Recommend that you pay a bit more and do this.
2. Good carparking
3. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room were very welcomed
1. Agreed with a lot of folks about the restaurant onsite. There needs to be another sort of menu as the one presented is too high-end and expensive to eat every day. We went out to eat more so due to this in the surrounding villages
2. Pool not heated and no menus nor obvious servicers to take orders
3. Did not like breakfast presented. We tried it once but not enough fresh fruit, or breads

Restaurant, view from room, tennis court, bar area
Rooms were a bit dated and relatively small. Pool area could be more maintained and looked after.

We liked the facility. Beautiful house, tennis court, petanque court, pool. It is suitable for the family but also for couples. Nearby there are many things to do, from history to wine and food tasting.
I did not like the diversity of the food on the dinner menu.

The property is amazing and superbly located in Provence; the facilities are great and the staff overall very helpful!
The garden is beautiful even though it could be better maintained.
The restaurant is outrageously expensive with poor service due to the lack of staff; the menu does not change and does not permit any flexibility which is quite awkward for such a highly rated restaurant. This is a real shame, as we had booked for 6 nights and finally had to look for outdoor dining which is not what we wanted!

Lovely property
First time I see a four star where no one helps bring heavy luggages to your room. Our 3 course dinner also took 2H - ??. They must have been really short of staff in the kitchen, I suppose.

The restaurant was the best thing about this hotel - breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had, both from a choice and a process point of view. And the dinners were some of the best we had in France. Lovely waiting staff too.
Otherwise it's a nice hotel with friendly staff.
The rooms look much nice in the photos than they do in real life and are a little small and old fashioned. There's a pool table but given how remote the hotel is, it was unsurprisingly always in use - could be worth getting a second one.
