Fab modern apartment close to town and beach in Skala

beautiful apartment on the 2nd floor. Modern decor, great aircon. Location is excellent for access to the town and beach. Lovely and clean, the host is very welcoming and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Highly recommended

Excellent, quiet location, 2 minute walk to wonderful sandy beach, large bedroom and separate large living room / kitchen. Kitchen was well kitted out, Windows look out at the front, side and rear of the apartment, Windows fitted with very effective shutters for when you need to shut out the bright sunshine. Our host was friendly and very helpful, Highly recommend

Misleading reviews. Disappointing stay.

The only good thing about this place was the location. Close to beach (1 minute walk), close to the busy strip with all the bars, restaurants and shops.

From beginning to end the property was just not good at all. - No organisation/contact from host about picking up the keys to access the property. Would be a good idea if they had their number on WhatsApp, I had to use my UK number to call the host. - Really noisy and old a/c that doesn’t work properly in the bedroom so we had to use the living room one which we didn’t have the remote for for a night (because it wasn’t in the room). - COCKROACHES! You would think being on the ground floor they would think to put drain covers as have other apartments I stayed in kefalonia but no. Throughout our stay there were lots of baby cockroaches in every room and even found a big one on our last night. - Not sure how this place could be defined as an “apartment”- no washing facilities, the kitchen is almost useless, cutlery and other kitchen utensils are just thrown under the sink not covered at all which is disgusting considering how many cockroaches are about. - They don’t give you any extra toilet paper. They literally just give you one roll. - We didn’t have hot water for a day and half, also the shower head doesn’t attach to the wall at all. Here’s some things other apartments had that Alexander’s Apartments DID NOT HAVE: - tea/coffee/sugar/jams etc. - slippers - extra towels - drain covers - clothes line - a working kitchen - clean rooms+kitchen - extra blanket - extra toilet paper - Kitchen roll I definitely did not feel clean at all during our stay here and was freaked out the whole time over all the cockroaches around the apartment. Host wasn’t very accommodating either she just gave the key, said the basic things and left. Didn’t bother to suggest some things or recommend stuff to do. This whole apartment just felt dirty. The kitchen was old and tattered and the same goes for all the furniture in the room. They were not wiped and the wardrobe had a funny smell. It seemed like it was stuck in the 90s.

The staff is lovely and careful to the needs. Centre of Skala reachable in 2 minutes by foot Perfect cleaning of the room

Maybe a piece of furniture more in the room might help

Beautiful family runs this and they also have a travel agency called Unexplored which we had a great trip sightseeing

Excellent customer service, this family went over & above to help us get our delayed luggage, very clean and great location

The host was amazing, absolutely brilliant apartment, the location was great for the beach 5 minuite walk, azzurra pool bar 3 minute walk round the corner,and the main street 5 minute walk .

Wonderful location and friendly atmosphere. Very clean apartment.

The apartment was lovely. A quiet resident with a balcony that has very nice views. The lovely beach is 50 metres away and there are plenty restaurants (including beautiful proper fish restaurant)and shops nearby. A selection of books is also provided for residents to choose from and perhaps read at the beach or in the lovely sitting area beside the books. The room also has air conditioning for those warmer days and nights. Overall an ideal location for people looking to spend a quiet, relaxing time abroad. The most important is helpful staff and ownership. Very nice and helpful people. Thank you again.

There is nothing to say that I didn’t like.

We had a great stay at Alexander Apartments and I would recommend

Location is perfect, right next to all facilities and restaurants in Skala. Chrisoula is a lovely host and made sure everything was comfortable for us. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at these apartments and look forward to staying again in the future!

Great apartments in a great location

Fantastic apartments. Chris met us and showed us around explained the area and where everything was. Comfortable bed with lovely pillows shutters on the windows to keep it cool. Quiet air conditioning. Great location 2 min walk to beach and town which had lovely restaurants.

Apartment super clean, well worth the price, everything we needed was provided, we asked for an iron and she brought us one including ironing board, owners lovely friendly people, nothing was too much trouble, we've been a few times and always been the same, definitely going again

Great location right next to Skala beach

Excellent location, on a quiet street close to the beach, the main street and all tavernas. A spacious apartment with a nice shower cabin

If they are available, go for the first floor apartments, we had an apartment on the ground floor and didn't feel like keeping the windows open.

Superb

Very clean apartment and the host help us with everything we wanted

This apartment is at last floor and the bedroom is ok but in the living is hot and the aircon doesn't work enough!

Exceptional value for money. Above any expectations

The location at Skala is really exceptional, in particular for families with little kids....a cristalline water beach is reachable at 5 minutes walk, with all facilities (sunbeds, a couple of good values bars and restaurants) Two supermarkets and shopping facilities are also reachable with 5 minutes walk. The flat is very comfortable and clean and gives access to two internal small open air areas that allo to have lunch and dinner. But above all the Alexander Appartments host is very kind, helpful and will help you have a wonderful stay

Friendly landlady, affordable appartment recommended for a couple of days or a weekend.

Clean, nice landlady.

The kitchen was not adequately furnished. The teapot when heated, exuded a peculiar smell, something like burnt plastic. Because there was no coffee maker, we had to drink only instant coffee from this funny-smelling teapot... Not enough toilet paper in the bathroom, had to purchase our own. A little noisy, loud neighbors.
