The room was clean and the beds were fine. But the bed base was ripped & hanging on the floor. Single beds had mattress covers. But my double had no mattress protector. No handle on the wardrobe. No bedside lamp. The bedroom door was like a guillotine and no latch. The toilet was clean and they provided plenty of towels. Shower was scalding. Luckily we had a plumber with us who was able to adjust. We still enjoyed our stay cause we were out most of the time having fun. We thought the low price was reflected in the old condition of the guest house. It could really do with modernisation & some oil on those squeaky doors. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

New decor, mattress & pillow protectors on all beds, oil the door hinges, make sure Guests know how to adjust shower temp before they go to there rooms, bedside lamp in all rooms and some new bedroom furniture would be a start. It would also be Good to offer breakfast.

Very dirty and noisy environment. I had to end my stay abruptly because the noise was unbearable. I saw a man defecating in front of the building. Please don't waste your money

The kettle was too big to easily fill it from the bathroom basin. The curtains didn't fully close.

Room poor value for money. Would expect breakfast for £149 per room. Curtains inadequate, shower curtain needs moving. Kettle too big so couldn't fill from bathroom tap.

my girlfriend is pregnant and we were threatened by the people in the room next to us. we told the staff they went next door got abuse from the neighbour also. the staff never came back instead they left the property when the neighbours where making threats to us. we were ignored and no one came back to deal with out situation. we also paid 70 to stay in a hotel that we couldn’t even sleep in because the neighbours in the room nextdoor would not be quiet from half 3/4 til 10 in the morning, I opened the door to get the 20 deposit of the staff after I had told them of this incident and he still did not put my mind at ease about the threats we were getting from next door. they were phoning their friends trying to get them down to rob us. I am a pregnant woman and I felt very threatened and vulnerable in the care of no one because they left they did not deal with the situation properly we were ignored after we told the member of staff what had happened. it was a waste of 70 and I would like my money back.
