Our second time at the house and it doesn’t disappoint. Lovely area, well equipped, very easy to communicate with Gary and Karen.

Wonderful house, Thank you !

House was very comfortable, well stocked and located in a very central area to be able to access the entire region.
The driving instructions were confusing a bit and it took us a while to find the house, but after a short phone call with the property manager, we found it right away.

From the day we booked to the day we left everything was brilliant. Communication with Karen when we had questions was great, the house had everything we needed and more, the location was brilliant with restaurants within walking distance. The kids didn’t want to leave the pool and the adults loved the covered terrace area with a few drinks.. yes there were a lot of mosquitos so take bug spray… they take no prisoners.. :)

Lovely villa with secluded landscaped garden and nice pool
Exactly as described, airy, spacious and very well furnished and equipped house. Private pool just great for the family, lots of loungers and large umbrella. Within walking distance of the resort's amenities and well-positioned for trips around the beautiful Luberon. Karen, the property manager, was extremely helpful -an excellent host.

A great holiday stay!
A very nice villa, exactly as the pictures show, located in the very beautiful Golf Domain of Port Royal, Mallemort. Great to spend time at the pool, or to visit both nice Provence towns like Gordes, L'Isle sur la Gorgue, ... as Marseille an the Meditteranean.

Beautiful luxury property in Provence
We had a great stay in this lovely villa. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beds and bed linen are of a very high standard. The air con in the bedrooms is a great addition and was much appreciated. Overall, this is a real home from home and I would highly recommend.

Another great stay
This is the second time we have stayed at this villa. It is exactly as described, has a great pool and outside area, and is very nicely furnished. It’s situation is ideal being a short walk to the centre of the resort and also the driving range and 6 hole golf course. The house, resort and the wider range are ideal for a relaxing family holiday. We will be back.

Beautiful
A very relaxed and enjoyable 2 weeks set within an amazing, picturesque, location. The property is beautiful and exactly as described. Karen was available and happy to assist with any minor issues we had (gas bottle for BBQ and signal for the TV). We all enjoyed the pool, of which was cleaned often and at a lovely temperature. A definite reccomendation to any family, especially with an interest of golf (which we did not), to visit.

This is the second time staying at this property and we love it. We enjoyed all the improvements since last year - especially the air conditioning. We love the location, the house the pool and garden. Hope to return for a third time!

Excellent.
We had a wonderful time staying here as a family. Everything was clean and the pool was warm and refreshing. The garden is lovely and we'll maintained as is the whole property. It was a delight to stay there.

Perfect villa
We had a great time at Gary’s villa. The villa was in a safe location and an easy walk to local restaurants in the golf complex (if we wanted a lazy evening without getting in the car).
The villa was extremely well equipped.
Karen was also very helpful as the local co-ordinator. She was always available and was full of useful local information.
Thanks for a great stay!

We have rented many holiday homes over the years and this one is up there with the best.It suited all our needs. It was very thoughtfully equipped and appointed. All the children's equipment was really good and safe, thank you for the stair gate. The home is obviously loved by the owners and is in really good condition, and thus it is as described very welcoming. The garden and pool are a bonus very relaxing, and set in the Pont Royale estate made us feel safe too. None of us wanted to leave and we had tears from our 3 year old grand-daughter. We had a great holiday. We will definitely try to book again.

We stayed at this property for a week in September 2018. Throughout the booking process/ check-in we were in contact with Karen, who was very helpful and accommodating, answering any questions raised. She also arranged an early check-in for us. The villa has been well maintained, and has a good range of facilities- we made full use of the BBQ/outdoor eating area and the boules pitch. The Villa is well positioned to explore the different areas of Provence. Over the week we visited Gordes, Aix en Provence and Avignon all which were 30 minutes/1 hour drive, and found a lovely restaurant in Mallemort called Auberge du Vieux Village- well worth a trip. The only issue we encountered was the amount of Mosquitoes around the pool and eating areas. I would encourage visitors to stock up on repellents etc, and for the owners to inform guests of this before visiting.Overall, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and would recommend it to groups or families who want to explore Provence.

Beautifully appointed villa with every home comfort!
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing holiday in Les Coquelicots, Pont Royal. The location is perfect for getting around the Luberon and all it's beautiful towns and villages.
We've been staying in villas in Provence for many years but this has to rank amongst one of the best in terms of comfort, facilities and style. The interior is spotless and beautifully furnished. We particularly appreciated the fabulously comfortable beds after a long day of sight-seeing. The outside is equally attractive with a choice of sitting areas overlooking the pretty garden and pool depending on whether you're looking for sun or shade.
The generous welcome pack was a nice touch which meant that we didn't have to rush out for supplies as soon as we arrived and the few queries that we had were answered efficiently by Karen, the property manager, who was very helpful.
The only thing we would have liked was a set of boules to make use of the area reserved for this in the garden but everything else was as near perfect as it could be and we would love to return at some point in the future.
Many thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Charming property, great location, fantastic honeymoon!
We had the pleasure of staying 'Chez Watson' during the first week of October and we thoroughly enjoyed our time, both in the villa as well as the numerous day trips that we took throughout Provence.
The villa itself surpassed our expectations, it was immaculate on arrival and the 'welcome gift' including bread, milk, coffee, wine etc were very well received after half a day travelling!
Karen who looks after the property was available throughout our stay when needed, with recommendations on local restaurants, trips out and she even visited us on the first full evening with another client of hers, to help us get the BBQ started after two grown men had failed in our attempts!
There's literally nothing that we would have added or changed about the villa, my wife and I had a fantastic honeymoon and will no doubt be staying again in the future - thanks very much to Gary, Mich and family......and Karen!

A fabulously appointed villa with every comfort of home!
We loved our fortnight at this house. Comfy beds, comfy sofas, sky tv, fabulously equipped kitchen, beautiful grounds, private and heated pool. The house is really well kept and very, very clean. We didn't make use of the facilities available at Pont Royal but had we been there 10 years ago with small children or teenagers I can see what a bonus it all would be. The Luberon is a beautiful area to explore with the nearby cities equally worth venturing out to. The only thing I think we would have liked would be a visitors book that we could read for recommended restaurants or destinations. We know the area quite well already but stumbled across a couple of gems that we would have gladly written details of in a book (old school!) Gary - owner and Karen - house manager were a pleasure to be in contact with and the booking process was extremely easy. We certainly hope to return.

Fantastic villa, very well kept, equipped and clean.
Our second year at Pont Royal, and we decided to spend a little more money than we did last year as we had been really disappointed with the quality of villa. Money extremely well spent - more space, properly equipped, beautiful garden, heated pool, Sky Sports (good to catch up on the cricket with a pre-dinner beer) and plenty of pool toys for our three girls. The welcome pack was such a lovely touch too.
I would certainly recommend this villa and if we decide to return to Pont Royal in the future we would certainly look to rent the property once again.
Thank you for a superb stay

A truly beautiful house in the sun
The villa was beautiful and a very special place to stay. It was large, clean and a wonderful home in the sun. The garden and pool was a very relaxing area to enjoy the sunny days and evenings, the outdoor pool dining area was perfect for dining on an evening. The villa was ideally situated with pleasant walks, absolutely perefect if you play golf. Les Coquelicots Villa was a home from home and somewhere I wouldn't hesitate staying at again. Also Karen the local representative was very helpful and available if needed. "tres bon"

Charming and relaxed, perfect for a family holiday
Lovely property, well maintained and equipped to a good standard (Which is not always the case on villa rentals). On arrival the house and garden were both clean and both matched online description and photos. All rooms were a good size so always felt we had plenty of space. The pool was heated so could even be used in the morning, which we did every day. BBQ was great, gas was provided and was used often. Having the Wi-Fi, sky box and a decent TV that the kids could screen/cast to from there tablets was also handy, especially at the hottest times of the day. Gary the owner was always helpful and quick to respond, as was Karen the onsite rep.
Pont Royal is a nice resort with plenty of activities for the kids. Restaurants on site were average, but Mallemort had some good restaurants, so worth visiting.
As usual in France, there are decent markets/supermarkets/wine caves/bakers etc nearby
Would love to go back and would highly recommend Les Coquelicots

A fantastic family villa in stunning surroundings
My husband and I were quite dubious about going away with our 2 year old toddler and 7 month old baby but Gary and Karen could not have prepared the villa better for us. Having sent a number of emails to a very patient Gary ahead of our holiday asking numerous questions about what was on site for my two little boys, we couldnt have been happier with what awaited for us when we arrived tired and hungry after a day of traveling.
The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials we needed. There were two travel cots set up complete with mattresses and sheets. Our baby had a bouncy chair and walker waiting for him and there was enough swimming inflatables and safety devices to keep both boys splashing in the pool for hours on end.
My husband was delighted that there was Sky TV and very good WiFi and I was excited to see a number of sun loungers and comfy garden furniture for the odd hour I got to actually sunbathe.
Karen was super fast coming back to us during our stay fixing any issues or answering any questions on the villa and area that we had.
Pont Royal is a lovely resort with plenty to do. Our eldest son loved going to the petting farm each morning and running around the square whilst we had coffee in one of the many cafes on site.
Just be aware that if you are staying with small children the pool isnt fenced off so you need to be extra vigilant but that was our choice.
A huge thank you to Gary and Karen for helping make our first family holiday abroad stress free.

A charming property set in beautiful surroundings
A very large, well appointed property set in a gated community. The property was clean on arrival and description matched as per advertisement. The pool was large and warm which was maintained to a high standard along with the garden. Ideal for families and those with children, we were a family of 4 adults and 2 kids age 4 and 8. Added bonus was the BSKYB Box which kept the kids entertained in the evening whilst the adults relaxed outside. We would definitely come back to this property, but would probably fly into Marseille (45 mins) as opposed to Nice (2 hour) to save travelling time. Property was only minutes away from InterMarche in Mallemort where all grocery goods can be purchased and meat for the BBQ. Very nice restaurants in Mallemort and well worth a visit. This property exceeded out expectations, thank you to Gary.

Beautiful house, great location, well equipped
Les Coquelicots is a beautiful house located on a private, gated domaine which also houses a golf club. With good sized bedrooms, a large lounge / dining area and a lovely garden with pool and barbecue area, it offers everything you want on holiday. It is within easy reach of the south coast, the Luberon area, the Camargue, as well as towns such as Avignon, Arles and Aix-en-Provence. The house has a double garage and parking for two cars. Easily accessible (we flew to Nimes), about 45 minutes from the airport. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Lovely house, well equipped, great locati
This beautiful house is very well located (on a gated private domaine which also houses a gold club) for exploring the south coast, the Luberon area, the Camargue and key towns such as Avignon, Arles and Aix-en-Provence. It is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The pool and barbecue area are wonderful on a warm evening and there is a large supermarket less than ten minutes away where you can buy all your BBQ goodies. Gas was provided in the BBQ as well as everything else we needed. Highly recommended!!

Gorgeous villa in a great location for sightseeing
Beautiful property, exceptionally well presented, pool area was superb, very well equipped and would highly recommend! Good location for sightseeing in Provence and Languedoc area, lots of activities on site such as bike hire, quad biking, etc. Villa is really immaculate and would not be able to fault any aspect!

Beautiful house, relaxing holiday
We wanted a chilled out relaxing week away in beautiful surroundings and that's exactly what we got with this villa. The owner, Gary, was always very prompt in his e-mail responses to my queries and the booking process. Also, their local villa agent, Karen was excellent, unobtrusive but easily contactable, efficient and knowledgeable. The house was pretty accurately described but if anything it is nicer once you are there and very clean, comfortable and definitely a house in which you are happy to spend a lot of time. The kitchen, in particular was very well stocked with store cupboard ingredients which really helps when you are self-catering but is rarely seen in villas we have rented in the past. The only request would've been for some fans for the bedrooms which would've been most welcome for hot nights and perhaps a couple more pool area sun loungers. We liked the holiday village in which the villa is located. It is very attractively laid out with a pretty village centre, perfect to walk to in the evening from the villa to a restaurant for dinner. Our children also enjoyed the leisure pool in the village (payable locally). There are plenty of pretty Provence towns and villages to visit but with 2 young boys and the need for some relaxation, apart from a couple of excursions to nearby towns and visits to the local supermarket, on the whole we tended to stay at the house and at the holiday village as it was all so lovely. I would definitely recommend this house and if I wanted a relaxing week away I would definitely return to this villa in the future. Many thanks for a great family holiday!
