It was easy to find and we were welcomed in by the host. Our room was set up nicely and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting with our host.
Didn’t have any complaints.

Loved being on a farm. Really comfortable and welcoming. Great breakfast. Use of kitchen.. And on our last night we got to see the Northern Lights. The host was present and very much a part of our stay. He was so welcoming, warm and helpful. Bathroom nice size. Very comfortable beds/

Beautiful property right off of the main road on the Southern ring. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Andre the owner is extremely kind and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area.

Great guesthouse, I had a big and clean room with black curtains and a new bathroom.
Andreas (the host) is a nice guy who shares his experience with you and makes your stay very comfortable.
The location is perfect to reach all the sights.

It is a guesthouse in the middle of a huge farm. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The common area has big kitchen where you can prepare your own food. Also the breakfast was nice. Landlord was very helpful.
Nothing in particular. It was nice place.

It was kind of cool to have to wait for some cows to clear the road before we could pull up -- the moos were nice ambiance during the early evening, and I guess cows sleep at night, too, because they didn't interfere with our sleep at all. Convenient (probably probably not a fun walk) to Seljalandsfoss, and other attractions on the way toward Vik. Groceries were about 15 minutes away to the west, so plan accordingly.
The guesthouse building has a common/breakfast area in the front and maybe 8 or so rooms behind, and ours had a pleasant farm view. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There was no self check-in, so you probably need to arrive in the appropriate time window.
The breakfast seemed really pricy for a cold breakfast, but in hindsight maybe not too bad by Iceland standards.

Host not very friendly at all. We paid double here than all of our other stays in Iceland and so expected more.

Very big and super clean rooms. We slept wonderfully.
They have a wonderful dog, Nim, and nice horses. We got a private tour to visit the horses on the field. Thank you!

Beautiful location

This is a FANTASTIC place to stay to explore Southern Iceland. Minutes away from Seljalandsfoss waterfall -- so easy to do an early morning experience of just your family and the waterfall (and no one else). Beautiful view of the Westman Islands from the property and 15 minutes away from the ferry and 40 minutes away from the glacier. Andres is an exceptional host. It felt like being part of a wonderful family.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Host was super friendly and helpful. He gave us a lot of travelling and sightseeing tips and was overall very pleaseant to talk to. The location is super and the farms cows walk around the guesthouse in the morning. The rooms were very comfortable and had nice furniture in them. Bathroom was very spacy. Don't let yourself fool by how the house looks from the outside or what the farm looks like. Inside it is really beautiful.
We expected a fully equiped kitchen to make dinner for ourselves. But it was just make yourself breakfast. The host helped us out with a stove but it just gave us limited options to cook for ourselves. This palce is a B&B and you should plan to dinner at a restaurant. The place is relatively newly renovated. The ventilation apparently does not work well. There is mold in the bathrooms already. The price is relatively high for what you get.

great location: near the main sites and with amazing view on the volcano.
the rooms are brand new and fully equipped as an apartment (shared kitchen is available on site).
the owner and his son were very friendly and welcomed us even at a late hour: recommended for a good chat on the history of Iceland
some finishing was missing after the renovation but they are working on it

Very clean and the location is pretty good, easy to reach a lot of attractions.

Andreas’ Place is the best mix of social, peaceful, beautiful and easy to reach some of the key highlights of the south of Iceland. This place was an absolute highlight for us, especially for someone quite picky about accommodation, I was so impressed!

The farmhouse is seemingly in the middle of nowhere but close to the Golden Circle and its attractions. We stayed for one night after a day trip from Reykjavik. It's the perfect location to explore the area around Seljalandsfoss. The rooms were spacious and clean. The host was very nice and accommodating. Gave us great tipps and prepared a wonderful breakfast. I would definitely recommend booking the breakfast.

we loved that it was right off the ring road and an easy place to get to after travelling the golden circle.

The place and the owner make you feel like at home. It’s worth to stay there if you want to explore south Iceland or you are on the way to east. I absolutely recommend the place.

the place was cozy and the owner was kind and knowledgeable.
I purchased breakfast for 3. It was not cheap but the food choices were very limited. only cold ones so there was nothing my son could eat. waste of money.

Don't judge the book by the cover on this one. Outside looks old but the inside is all new (renovated a barn and turned it into a guesthouse). Room was clean with comfy beds and nice shower. The community kitchen area was perfect for our needs. Location was great - could see Seljalandsfoss outside our window. Owner is very welcoming and helpful with knowledge of the surrounding sights.
GPS got us there just fine, but signage could have been better.

Andres, the host, was very kind and sympathetic. He told us great stories! The room was comfortable and the location, next to a very famous waterfall, was great, right next to the main road.

The owner was delightful, a pleasure to chat with and learn more about Iceland. The facilities were clean and modern, and the location was good for our travels.
slightly more “minimal” than most hotels of similar price

What a great location! We stayed two nights. The room was large and exceptionally clean and quiet. No creaking floors and no noise from neighbors, with very good blackout curtains. The owner was very friendly and check-in was easy. Breakfast is offered for additional cost- we didn't partake but it smelled delicious. I loved that there were apples and oranges set out for guests too.

Very easy to access, sparkling clean, new, fully functional, peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, polite helpful owner. We were welcomed by a cute, friendly dog. We felt at home. Big, simple, elegant bathroom. We were able to prepare our breakfast easily in the big kitchen area. It was a picturesque, relaxing stopover on our road trip.
Everything essential was as it should be. A small fridge in the room would be a welcome addition, although it's not really necessary. This is a simple, no-frills place, so it may not be ideal for travelers seeking luxury or polished exterior scenery.
