Flair Hotel zum Schiff was a perfect choice for our stay in Meersberg on the Bodensee! Marta, Concierge and receptionist was great! She gave us clear and precise information about the many venues we wanted to visit, making everything very easy for us. The breakfast was awesome, especially the brotchens! The location, right on the waterfront, was exactly right. We had a wonderful view of the Bodensee, and easy walks to the ferry, the upper town, and the many restaurants. Lots of walking, much of it uphill, but great nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Warm Welcome. Clean Room. Clean Bathroom but something can be improved like the shower cabin. Parking Site (covered) at a 5 minutes walk. Good Position in front of Boden See. Good Breakfast and wide offer. A good place to stop.

It would have been great to enter in a warm room ... but it warmed up in about 30 minutes. Restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is fine ... Several good options for lunch and dinner are available in 2 to 5 minutes walk.

Great location right on the lake, room was comfortable and the breakfast, provided in a beautiful dining room overlooking the lake, was excellent. Paid-Parking (12 Euro/24 hours) was convenient even though it was 5-7 minute walk from the hotel.

Pillows (by North-American standards) were a little uncomfortable and no air-conditioning in the room.

Superbe little hotel really close from the Ferry from Konstanz and center of Meersburg. Nice personnel and pretty little rooms. Enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast is very decent.

We had to book 2 Single rooms - yet, I and the wife could have easily stayed together in one room. The bed was queen-sized, enough for a married couple really? Just in terms of funds spent =)

The location of the hotel was fantastic - right on the water, a 5-minute walk to the castles, a less than 5-minute walk to the boats, and tons of restaurants nearby! Our room had a view of both castles. The breakfast had a good selection that was regularly replenished. Staff was very friendly. The on-site restaurant's food was great! The room size was very large, especially for Europe.

The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows go flat when you lay on them, but they are on par with the majority of European hotels where we have stayed. There is no on-site parking, but the reserved parking is only a 5-minute walk away. To access the parking garage, unload your luggage at the hotel, then they will give you the card and information to access the garage at Parkhaus im Weinberg (go to the hotel first!).

Fabulous view, great location and convenient

The person at the front desk that handled our reception was really unpleasant initially and rather brusque. The housekeeping staff was lovely though. Pillows were too soft and the sofa bed was a little hard.

The Location is Excelent The Breakfast Superp The Lakesideview is worth its money The Staff was Friendly and direct They accepted a early checkin and made that possible! Moneywise it was expensive but thats normal for lake Konstanz / Bodensee so its Fair Priced Honestly Meersburg is excelent to stay and the hotel is a good option for Meersburg specialy if you like a old City with a beach promenade but some bad things need to be mentioned...

We had booked a comfort room and if thats their middle class room i dont want to know how the budged ones look.. The Bathrooms are horrible - seriously i saw better bathrooms in Hostels or cheap hotels; Old tiny and desperately in need of renovation. The Shower had a broken Adjustment the Watterpressure was not there at all; The toilet had a old water reservoir fresh out of the 80th; the whole bathroom was not bigger than 1.5x1.5 The Room TV is a JOKE maybe 22 Inches in a corner not that i need it anyway but others do NO COFFE Machine or WaterCooker inside the Room SERIOUSLY that's one of the basics!! At one of my 3 nights the staff forgot the Towels which is okay and can happen BUT reminding them and telling them where gone for 2 hrs did not solf the problem.. Reminding again got me a "its on our list" --> PPL if you read this.. if you forget something or make a mistake please don't add it on a list and correct it directly i wanted to shower after coming back!!! the most horrible part for me was it seems the girl who forgot the towels was maybe a freshener because the bed was 2 times very WELL made but the 3rd time the bed sheets loosened them self overnight and i needed to sleep in a crumply bed and NO we didn't had other activity in it that night.... i assume the freshener needs more training. Parking is given 400 Meters away with 2 roadcrossigs there are closer public parking than the hotel owned parking acceptable if you like a walk at the lakeside but not if its bad weather... honestly thats not the hotels fault but they should bargain with the bigger newer closer parkinghouse...
