Very pleasant stay. Best overnight stays we had in the past two and a half years.

Great place to stay. Lovely staff. Kind to pets. Good food. Secure parking. Lovely market on Saturday.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful people, wonderful location

The position was perfect; a little closer to Portofino and out of the centre of the town, so it was quieter and less busy. The hotel staff were also wonderful.

lovely common areas, character features, brilliant location and great staff.

the staff were friendly, receptionists very helpful and very cheerful

the room we were first allocated was very disappointing, but the staff changed the room without a quibble the night after. However, the room should never have been an option for the rate, it was very small and noisy.

i was sad to leave

Location is perfect, we had access to the beach which is so great! i like the interiors, they’re unique and beautiful! try to book the room with balcony and sea view, insanely breathtaking! + don’t miss the lemon cake at breakfast! + Wake up at dawn time and go for a walk! + And yeah wear fancy stuff, it’s not a casual city.

A/C needs some improvements!

New toiletries every day

Previous reservation for swimming pool is necessary and it is possible for 90min/day only!!! Hotel's beach is charged 50EUR/day although the public beaches next to this hotel's beach are for fee up to 25EUR Breakfast for 15EUR/person/day is not really worthy Inoperative TV Very poor wifi, no wifi in swimming pool area Shower was clogged Very standoffish staff

Good location.

The amenities were outdated including a lift that often closed on people as they were trying to get in. Also, we had booked 3 person room and a single room. During the middle of the night (3am) a staff member unlocked the door and entered the single room. It petrified the person staying in the room and they were unable to remain alone in the single room. When we asked the staff in the morning why they entered during the middle of the night they simply said “we thought the guest had left”. We didn’t get an apology once for the discomfort and fright that had been caused. They should have called the room to confirm instead of walking in during middle of the night.

i promissed to angelica from front desk i will wright about this stupidity of management , i travel alone , so they accepted this situation, i have single room but if i want to go hotel spiaggia i must payed two sun bed , it is a stupidity and the beach is empty ...... try understaining because i didnt..... marius

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location.

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were big enough and as I had expected, dated but clean. We chose this hotel due to the location and it was great to stay there instead of being in the Cinque Terre. Portofino was very close.The beach was lovely. Santa Margherita was great and we would base ourselves in this location again. It was peak season being August so we expected the accommodation to be less value for money. We had drinks from the beach restaurant- the lady was friendly with great service. Breakfast was cheap at 5 euors per person.

You have to pay 50 euros for the beach chairs (although we had expected this reading other reviews) so it was not a shock. We had drinks from the beach restaurant- the lady was friendly with great service. The beach restaurant also served a lovely lunch-book early each day. A bowl of ice delivered to our room was 5 euros. The buses and trains were a bit harder to get around than other cities. We expected that the hotel pool was average. They now take bookings each day to use the pool for one hour a day. When we got up there, there was no staff, no towels, no service. The pool was cold. The hedges are blocking the view to the beach from the sun beds. It would have been nice to have drinks up there or some sort or service. To be honest the pool was a waster of time and space and we cancelled our booking for the next day.
