Nice resort with an excellent restaurant
The main advantage of the place is its excellent restaurant. The food is vegan, but Naama, the chef, works wonders. She also gives personal attention and fulfills everyone's requests. We ate huge and delicious breakfasts there that were included in the room price, as well as lunch and dinner. The rooms were basic but nice and clean. The resort itself is in the heart of a beautiful forest and we enjoyed the place, the pool and the jacuzzi. The staff was polite and nice
The location can be problematic for those who do not have a car or private transportation

Quirky hippy decor, but no welcoming hippy vibe.
Excellent vegan dinner with lovely chef who seemed to really care. Nice vegan breakfast. Several dining rooms, including outdoor patios to set your plate.
Our main issue was that the communication was terrible. At check-in the front desk told us not to go to our rooms first because dinner was about to start. The paperwork we were handed indicated dinner should have already started. But nothing was happening in the dining area. Since we were miles from the next nearest restaurant we were worried we would have to drive out into the dark if dinner wasn't happening. We tried asking at the desk and because of a language barrier, could not get an explanation. The desk people held up a phone that announced via Google translate "Just go to the dining room and lay down." The was a series of people asking questions at the front desk and then leaving more puzzled than when they arrived. Finally, a hour later, a big group appeared from a night hike and the food suddenly was whisked out from the kitchen. They had delayed dinner for the hikers, which is fine, but tell the front desk and hang a sign for the guests. Similarly, the front desk could not or would not tell us about any of the many many activities that go on at the hotel. Maybe with the bus tour they felt overwhelmed or maybe since we were only there one night they decided not to bother spending time to explain anything to us. Ironically, we had called the hotel to ask when dinner is served while driving there. They passed the phone around until someone told us "dinner, si, don't worry" when really the right answer would have been "get here by 6pm for the night hike and dinner is delayed until 7:30pm." The hikers were heading out as we pulled in.

WORST NIGHT OF MY LIFE IN A HOTEL
All the propriety is pretty quiet.
Place is very unkempt! furnitures are old. Room smells musty and old, seems to be poorly maintained and even a bit dirty. Noise from the rooms next door is very loud and the balconies in the backyard have No privacy at all. TV had the volume Off and the Fans are loud all night long. We had a bad night and also very unsafe because the property doesn’t have watchmen.

Superb
Reading previous reviews about the resort I was a bit hesitent, and retrospectively I would have stayed one or two mights more. Contrary to some descriptions, the room as well as the other fasilities were perfectly clean. The restaurant was amaizingly good, and it is surprising how well the chef (Na'ama) can do with vegan food (I am not vegan at all:) ). The resort is beautifully designed and the cause behind it is important as well
No criticism

Nice stay, good food, a bit pricey
It is located in a beautiful and secluded part of the jungle, very relaxed atmosphere, restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian and tasty dishes
a bit pricey, the hotel itself is a little old, basic rooms

Passable
The joy of summer camp covered in green rain forest.
Facilities are getting very old and unkempt. Faucet handles were rusted. We had to move to a different room because the toilet began to leak. In the new room the phone did not work. The outdoor facilities were made of wood and are beginning to rot. For example the orchid display and the bridge to the orchid display was falling apart and very unsafe. In reality this is a huge animal shelter. The vegan food was given with generous portions but heavy on the grease.
