Nice pub, good location

Great pub with good atmosphere

Our bed wasn't that comfy & dinner service was quite poor. Ordered wine at dinner didn't arrive & even after I told them, it was on the room bill nxt day

Second to none

Room gorgeous, en-suite bathroom awesome (especially shower) staff very attentive and friendly, food excellent quality. Drinks-plenty of selection, including cocktails. Lovely homely atmosphere

Room. Breakfast. Unexpected bathtub in the room for the wife to enjoy while watching TV!

Navigating the narrow bridge to get to the main car park, after dark, was not a fun experience.

The bed was comfortable.

I could hear the people upstairs. I could even hear them snoring. The window does not lock properly. The heating was on really high the first night. The second night the heating was off (which I preferred).

Beautiful Hotel

Beautiful rooms with a lot of character

My only small niggle was the design of our bathroom meant the floor got very wet when we showered. This is a tiny niggle, though.

Magical and cozy English style

Magical place, beautiful cozy English style hotel, with modern bathroom, I will definitely stay here again! I loved the original wooden furniture!

Fantastic place

A gem of a hotel

This is a gem of a property. Beautifully finished to a high standard and offered so many amenities in the room, from extra pillow, to a fan and an ironing board. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and evening meals were superb and the staff were incredibly helpful. The village and surrounding countryside is the England of chocolate boxes. Beautiful. Trying to find an excuse to revisit.

Pleasant location, recent refurbishment and excellent staff make for a very enjoyable break.

Very well presented room and ensuite. Staff all courteous and food very enjoyable at dinner and breakfast.

Breakfast was good, but would have liked more choice of cereal and more bread options than sourdough. Music in the dining room would benefit from being less loud.

Very good

Breakfast was excellent en the place looks fabulous. The room and the bed were great and it's very nice to sit inside but also in the garden

dinner took a very long time en nobody of the staff came to say in between that it took a little longer due to circumstances........everybody understands that. But maybe that day was een exception

Would definitely stay again, roast dinner & breakfast were lovely.

Rustic, cosy, felt really homely & welcoming.

Our bedroom was above the kitchen, was a little noisy when they finished their shift. Breakfast was lovely, it did take nearly an hour from sitting to eat.

The setting by the river is fantastic. The staff were really friendly and efficient. The food , particularly the breakfast was great

Great location. Great combination of good room with excellent restaurant.

Nothing really but perhaps as as solo traveller might have felt more comfortable being in main building. Will remember to ask for next visit.

Beautiful place. Worth the visit.

It's a little far out but worth the drive. Lovely location and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff are very helpful. Husband enjoyed his breakfast, especially overlooking the stream.There is also a little shop next door which is handy.

Perfect relaxing picturesque stay

A totally hidden gem, beautifully kept garden with relaxing flowing stream at bottom. Rooms very clean and comfy. Good food with plenty of choices to choose from. Reasonably price too. Car parking availability at back and free WiFi throughout. Staff friendly and so helpful.

Awesome English village experience, great food and accommodation.

Ye old English, yet modern upgrades in the spacious rooms. Food was fantastic - and the fact that it was in Albury!

Nothing comes to mind - I wish we stayed longer and maybe they could add an EV charging station? :)

Tranquil escape from the city

The staff were very friendly and the room was immaculate. I slept very well despite being on the road side of the building. Shower was great. All of the amenities in the room were of good quality. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

It's cheaper to buy breakfast separately than to pay an extra £20 for it to be included.

Excellent value, lovely atmosphere gastro pub and the breakfast was lovely.

Lovely atmosphere in the pub. Nice staff. Rooms were in a separate building which was nice to create just a little distance but still feel part of the venue.

Very hard to pick anything here...would have liked a bath in the room....but shower was great.
