Had a very relaxing week. Seamus was really helpful and nothing was a bother to him. A very good host. This is our second stay and I would definitely recommend staying at the Coastguard Cottages and I will most definitely will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

Seamus couldn't do enough for us. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location was spectacular.

Excellent location just outside the village of Downings, was pet friendly, very convenient base to visit local attractions and comfortable

House was brilliant for a family can see kids playing outside lovely tennis courts in middle of the green quiet area with amazing views staff were very helpful would definitely stay here again

Very generous size Property location great. Lovely large bucket of logs to light open fire. Brown bread, milk, and other food items left for us. Seamus super helpful he allowed us settle then welcomed us with all useful advice. Place spotless!!! Will be back

location beside thre great golf courses and a beautiful beach, as well as a few great places to eat nearby plus the harbour bar, a throwback to a bygone age.

Everything. It was a fantastic holiday home. So many little touches that made our stay perfect... the owner had thought of everything, right down to the scones and tea!

Bedroom missing chest of draws and somewhere to put your suitcase not ideal having to bend all the time to get stuff out Couch and bed really uncomfortable needs new ones

I liked that was cleaned, cosy like home, we had everything we needed e.g. towels, kitchen essential, good location, near the village, you are surrounded by the beaches and mountains, is a lovely bungalow with a big sun room.

Great cottage - set in a beautiful location overlooking Downings bay . Lovely clean house with everything you could need - and even a welcome pack of wheaten bread, tea ,coffee - logs for the fire etc provided . Our 2 dogs were made to feel very welcome too when we were met by our host Seamus . Plenty to do in the area - a variety of beaches to walk the dogs and an easy 15-20 min stroll into the village to eat out . Great all round location and stay .
