Is very good

We rented the house for a 5 week period to host additional family members on a trip to Madeira. The views were outstanding and we also enjoyed the heated pool. It was nice to have a garage for the rental car and it was also nice to be able to take a bus to downtown after just a short walk. A very enjoyable stay.

Sem dúvida, que foi uma escolha acertada. A casa está muito bem equipada. O local perfeito para com amigos e/ou família, desfrutar de uns dias de descanso. Vistas fantásticas, estar na piscina e poder desfrutar de umas vistas fabulosas sobre o Funchal. Recomendo. C’était notre première fois à Madeira, on était un peu stressé de réserver en cette période de COVID-19 mais le propriétaire, Daniel, a réussi à nous donner confiance. On a atterri sur Madeira et son fils Igor est venu nous récupérer à l’aéroport. Il nous a aussi loué une voiture pour notre séjour de 7 jours et c’était un plus pour découvrir Madeira ! Puis on a fait le check in et nous avons pu profiter de la maison qui est très bien située et très bien amménagée ! On a malheureusement pas pu profiter énormément de la piscine, beaucoup de nuage avec un mélange de petite pluie durant la réservation. Mais sinon, aucun soucis avec la maison ni le propriétaire qui était à l’écoute tout du long. Je recommande cette maison

Das Haus war perfekt. An alles war gedacht, wie z.B. Spülmittel, Wasser, Waschmittel usw. Es gab genügend Handtücher. Der Blick über die Stadt war atemberaubend. An die vielen Hunde in der Nachbsrschaft konnten wir uns nur schwer gewöhnen. Sie haben oft gebellt und manchmal kam ein Gestank rüber, der uns vom Pool vertrieben hat. Je nach Windrichtung. Trotzdem haben wir uns super erholt und den Aufenthalt genossen. Wir würden das Haus wieder mieten.

The hosts were awesome and the house is well equipped for a great vacation! The views are spectacular!

Jederzeit wieder - sehr schönes Haus - viel Platz - super Aussicht.

We stayed at Choupana House for a week in July. The weather was quite often overcast but the property and it’s owner, Daniel, ensured we still had a great holiday. Daniel responded quickly to all my correspondence (emails, texts, calls) both before and during our stay. He and his colleague, Enio, are a delight to deal with. They have designed and built a wonderful villa, which is just like the photos if not even better. Everything one could want from a holiday villa is there - the space, the quality of finish, the views, the amenities etc - we could not have asked for more. The supplies provided are excellent and plentiful. The pool was clean and slightly larger than we had imagined from the pictures. We had one small issue with the kettle not working but Daniel and Enio resolved that by providing a new one within 2 hours of me contacting them.The villa is easily commutable from Funchal and on a residential road. This does mean that there are neighbouring dogs which sometimes bark, so I would suggest bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me (though I did get used to them). We hired a car from the airport but do speak with Daniel first as he may also be able to help in this regard. We actually used it very little as the 29 bus service into Funchal is close by, regular and punctual and the cabs, when needed, are clean and reasonably priced. There is probably lots of good stuff that I’ve forgotten to mention but I’ll end by saying that if you require a quality, well-appointed, conveniently-placed, well-serviced villa with an owner that is there if you need him then Choupana House is the place for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
