Location is great. Staff really nice and helpful. Pool is good as well.

Rooms are not like in the pictures, not enough amenities in the room. Also, the main issue was other guests in the hotel (britts) who are making huge noise during night, and taking over the pool basically during the day.

Manager's attitude after I made a complaint (security waking me up in the middle of the night ,power sockets hanging of the wall in a bathroom,room not cleaned and reception staff explaining that cleaner didnt show up at work).

The rooms are basic but clean and tidy. The reception staff were fantastic. The lady on our arrival could not have been more helpful and pleasant as we arrived at 11am and our check in was not until 2pm. We weren't expecting or really wanting to check in early as we were just keen to get by the pool but she said come back in an hour and hopefully your room will be ready and then gave us the luggage room key to put our bags in so we could go by the pool. The pool is pleasant and well kept as is the pool area. It's only untidy when people don't take their cups back or leave rubbish around which isn't the fault of the hotel staff. There are plenty of sunbeds. The sun is blocked off by the hotel until around 1030am and is not available all around the pool until early afternoon- this is never anywhere issue as most guests don't surface until early afternoon after a heavy night! You can chill in the pool and have a beer or cocktail whilst you are in there without any complaints which is great- some pool staff at other hotels frown upon this which I never understand especially if the drink is in a plastic cup. Location is great. 2 minute walk and you are by burger King on the strip. If you are on a budget but want to experience Magaluf this is usually the cheapest hotel I find and a great location. You can pre-drink in your room and hit the strip around midnight to ensure you don't have to spend hundreds of euros in a few days.

I have stayed here a few times. The first time it was under different management called 'Lively Magaluf'. Globales have rebranded and called it Globales Torrenova. It's basic but you know that before booking so I can never understand why ratings are low for a place like this- it's unfair as it does exactly what it says on the tin. My only negative is that you gey frowned upon for having your own large bottle of water by the pool. Most people on room only are coming on a budget and can't afford to pay for water from the pool bar constantly all day and for safety of looking after yourself drinking lots of water is important in the heat so I do think they should not be having a go at people for having a €2 large water bottle bought from supermarket. I totally agree and understand that bringing your own alcohol around the pool is ethically not right as that is not a necessity (as water is) and the pool bar serves reasonably priced alcoholic beverages and food. One other thing for regular Magaluf goers (not hotel related) is MCP club pass used to be €30 a night all you can drink and that's what I had planned to keep to a budget....this has changed. Its now €30 CREDIT which gets you entry still into all MCP clubs that night but only around 4/5 drinks as they scan your barcode on your wristband. So all in all Magaluf has definitely not stayed as cheap as it was before the pandemic (perhaps understandably but still disappointing!).

Long wait times at check in, or whenever you need to speak to the reception. There was always only 1 person on the desk and sometimes you would need to wait ages to speak to someone

Too many young and drunk people who shouting and making a mess. I had terifying experience as at 6 am at the morning some guy from the corridor was kicking all the doors and finally I heard glass breaking - he punched to window out. I was afraid to leave the room because did not know in what kind of condition he is. After that I was reading reviews about the hotel and found out that it is quite common issue - so why then someone from the staff do not walk periodically through the floors and do not evaluate the noise and etc? It was terifying experience and I do not recommend this hotel for anyone - except those who want to get into fight or something more dangerous.
