Nice clean rooms, well located hotel.

Pretty basic. Everything felt a bit old. Breakfast was very basic, with not a lot of choice.

I’m a very Ill lady who couldn’t make her trip along with son life threatening illness who was in a coma not long ago then recitals blue lighted 2 ed myself started having fits on top of illness cancel on medical ground hotel won’t refund the £3000 all te money I had my boys Xmas present

There is no negative point.

A beautiful hotel next to the river in Ivalo. Its not the most modern of hotels, but for me that was part of the charm. Access to the finish sauna and to the Jacuzzi's was included in the price. We had dinner in the restaurant before my friends drove back to the North of Norway, and the food was excellent. After I went to the sauna, and had a swim in the river, the only minus was that the stairs down to the river was not in place, but i managed :D The reception, and restaurant staff was very service minded and helpful. I will come back again in the winter time to experience the Hotel and Ivalo in the winter! I can imagine its magical there around Christmas time. The airport is only a short drive away, and there is a shuttle buss that the staff is happy to help you book.

Fine a stopover and the staff most helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory but not as good as it might have been. No fried eggs for instance. Dinner from the menu was however very good. The older rooms are lovely and due to their heritage have ambience. The more spacious rooms do not have river views so not worth the extra money!

A very good hotel. The staff are very helpful, and the restaurant is great.

The strength of the Wi-fi is very poor, it keeps dropping out.

Position overlooking the river. Food in restaurant was good. Sauna and swimming pool were nice though pool was too cold for me.

The hotel is well heated, some of the staff are friendly. Close proximity to the airport. Which is a good thing since the taxi fares start at 12 euro. Close to the local bar and supermarket. Has small fridge in the room.

I got one of the old rooms, it would remind you of a half way house. Very drab interior, shower doors hanging off. Only 2 lights working in room 75% were broken. The hot breakfast is rubbish, I guess they have the idea if they cook really bad, then people will not consume much. Don't stay here if you like a hot breakfast, the cold selection is a little better. Since the hotel basically only caters to their 90% French cliental.

Hotel Ivalo was absolutely spot on! All the staff were lovely & helpful. The games room with the pool table, board games etc was wonderful for our evenings with a few drinks from the bar! The activities provided by Club Nord were amazing, we especially enjoyed the snowmobile safari & go karting on ice (we even paid for a second go!) The hotel is in walking distance to a supermarket, gift shops and lovely restaurants. Absolute little gem!
