Farm stay with small dog

Staying at the 1000 farm was a truly unique experience for us. Bringing our small dog along added to the joy as he had an absolute blast running freely throughout the expansive place. The caretakers, Manju & Ravi, were incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The spacious rooms with amenities such as smart television, air conditioning, and a small fridge added a touch of luxury to the rustic charm of the farm. It's worth noting that if you plan to have meals at the farm, it's best to inform the caretakers in advance. The presence of farm animals added to the overall charm of the place, making it a delightful retreat for nature lovers. Overall, our time at the 1000 farm was memorable, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Cleanliness: There were a lot of cobwebs in the room, and the fridge was not clean. The outdoor seating area lacks cleaning as well. Deep cleaning of the rooms is necessary. Drinking Water Availability: Due to its remote location, guests have to buy drinking water at the property. Providing water in advance or informing guests about this situation would be beneficial. Food Options: Being 18 km away from the city, the farm has limited food options cooked by the caretakers based on guests' needs. A clear menu indicating available options would be helpful as existing menu had less options. WiFi Availability: For guests looking for staycations, the farm lacks WiFi connectivity. While this wasn't an issue for us, it could be a consideration for others. In case you are going for somedays there, you can carry sufficient snacks and drinks as the property is away from city. But it is best enjoyed that way! Please note Pet charges are extra 500 per day, but it is not inclusive of any meals for your pet which is otherwise give at other places you stay at. Including small meals for pets can add value as well.

The stay at thousand silvers was comfortable. Simple accomodation and good food were the highlights. Limited people at the stay made the stay were peaceful Swamy and Manju were very helpful and ever smiling.. Food cooked by Manju was tasty. Both of them catered to the guests very well and also offered room service.

Nice relaxing stay. Not very costly. The premises were clean and well maintained.

As this is located in outskirts of Mysore, there are no eateries nearby. Given this scenario, the food in the stay could have been better. We had expected the food to be more homely. The food was very rich and not that great.

Great place

The place is calm and away from all the city hustle if you want a quiet weekend, this could be your right place. We went with a 1.5 year old baby and i was looking for a place that would serve fresh food and a calm environment so my baby won't go cranky all evening. The villa was quiet, had a few farm animals that kept my little one entertained just looking at them. Hospitality was great, we felt like being home. And the premises is well maintained. We enjoyed the home cooked food and came back home satisfied.

We found it hard to find the place at night, gmaps took us around on an unknown road. Took us more than one and a half hours to reach the resort from the city when it actually showed 32 mins because we were going on an apparently short route. Internet was a struggle there. They had a TV with good connection to a few ott. Would've been so much more comfortable if we had proper wifi and TV. Like we'd relax and our toddler would still get to see her favourite music.

A Great Place to Relax in Simple Style

The place is charming. The cottage is clean, neat and has basic amenities required. It was nice to see the different animals. The food has a home - cooked taste.

There could be more variety of dishes on the menu. Maybe if there are more things to do on the premises it would be nicer - board games, cycling, reading area ...

We had a great time, it's always a challenge for us to find a place that allows us to take our dog with us, particularly since he is not always friendly. The staff were great not just with us but with accommodating our dog as well. Food was authentic and tasty, no issues with check in or check out, whole place was very clean and well maintained. There are a number of different animals on the farm, and you can tell they are all treated well. The staff lit a campfire for us which was very enjoyable as well. Overall, thought it was great value for money.

While all our requests were handled by the staff, it would be nice if a couple more amenities were available in the kitchenette. Since it's very far from the city, it would be great if a mini fridge / induction stove were available so that at least basic food and drink requirements could be handled ourselves without having to ask the caretakers.

Perfect place to unwind, away from the chaotic city life

Right from the way the property is maintained, to the caretakers who is very very passionate about hospitality, the property makes you forget the hustles and bustles of city life and takes you back to nature. A place where you can travel with your friends or family and will surely have a great time

Perfect Farmhouse Experience

The farm animals are really nice. It's a beautiful getaway from city life. this is a perfect place for family reunions and parties. There are two rooms which have AC. I was a bit skeptical that there might be issues of mosquitoes, but the there was none.

The food is not up to the standards given the price you pay. I do understand that since it is outside city boundaries so the sourcing might be a problem but it the food quality could certainly be improved.
