Location location location. And the size of the apartment.
Unfortunately, could not control the noise from the downstairs bar after 11pm.

The location is directly in the heart of downtown Saint Augustine. So easy to walk everywhere!
As it's directly in the heart of downtown and it's an older building, you could hear people/cars outside.

Everything. Location, location, location. this property is in the very heart of downtown Saint Augustine.
It could be challenging for a person with mobility issues. It is on the second floor. I were by up and down the stairs very slowly. It was worth the effort.

Great location. We totally lucked out and got parking right in front.
There is a bar right under the flat and the music was very loud until 2am. Nothing the hosts can do but wanted them to be aware.

22 steps. In hind sight, it was good exercise.

The location was perfect. Right out the door is the historic district, making taking multiple walks through the district every day so convenient. No car needed.
The location had one drawback for a sleeping family, as the Trade Winds bar bands - literally right next door - played live and loud rock music until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. And I even like rock music.

We loved the convenience of the location, as everything was in walking distance. The apartment was very cute, and comfortably perfect for our party of 6. The decor was adorable with its French theme. We appreciated that basic necessities were provided such as towels. Sabine and Stephane provided easy instructions on how to get into the apartment, and was available to answer our call when we had a question.
