Breakfast was adequate. A few mistakes over orders occurred. The en suite was tiny but the room was large. The bed was a plank very uncomfortable

Our sleep was spoilt by the hard bed. Breakfast lacked adequate fruit choices. The room door lock was badly fitting and needed forcing

Location was excellent, it was clean and the owners friendly. Everything you want from an independently run b&b. They even had sanitary towels and take away cups you could put your hot drinks in in the room.

Our bathroom had a leak and the floor was blown and made the door stiff to open and close. Just needs a bit of TLC once sorted.

Lovely location. Loved the room really spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly.

Only that the shower was coming away from the wall but informed owner who said he go fix it as soon as we left.

Fabulous breakfast. I’m veggie and the full English without the meat was great. My partner always rated a breakfast on the quality of the hosts sausage (no euphemism intended) and she was not disappointed !

We were in the gods, guess someone has to be and radiator did not work. Not a criticism as when a asked a plug in radiator arrived. Shower up there difficult for tall people with sloping roof.

The staff and breakfast were exceptional and the staff were so keen to make us feel very welcome. Our room was off the Guests Lounge which was a bit strange and the bathroom was a bit cold but the room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable.

Lovely room - very spacious, clean and comfortable. Photos didn't do justice. Extremely hospitable and friendly staff who were very accommodating to our vegan diets with wonderful cooked breakfast and non dairy milk options. Good location - walkable to the seafront and a few mins drive to the centre for evening meal options. Highly recommend as an excellent value stay!

The warm welcome, the building, the location. The room was beautiful and cosy. Clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing and we received an friendly and excellent service.

Lovely location, away from the louder seafront. Great parking (slightly tight squeeze through the drive entrance), but plenty of space once in. Very clean rooms. Lovely lounge area and breakfast room where we could bring takeaway food for evening meals. We had a shared bathroom, which was of no inconvenience at all actually. Excellent choices of cooked food, pastries, and cereals. Fantastic cooking quality (compliments to the chef!). Very kind and accommodating hosts as well.

We didn't actually get any names of the hosts/staff at the B&B. it would have been nice to put faces to names. The mattress was a bit too soft for my liking. However, this didn't spoil our visit at all and would be happy to come back again.

Stayed here previously but missed my booking this time due to personal issues. Lovely place to stay, especially with my dog. So friendly and welcoming. Would always recommend it to anyone. The breakfast was amazing best I've had in years. The owners advised they only taken this on last year, well done to them, and can't wait to see how they progress.

Did advise the guest bed in the family room needed a bit of WD40 as squeeked when moved during sleep. The bathroom was cold but not a massive issue. My friend found the bed uncomfortable but fed back, with no other bad feedback. The owners were open to all comments and took it all on board.

A warm welcome from the moment we arrived. Everywhere clean and hosts were very accommodating. Weather not the best, storm Irma, so stayed in our room for longer than we would usually. We were then supplied with more tea & coffee in case we needed it. Could have used shared lounge downstairs but our room was light and comfy so did not feel the need. It is a short easy walk to the seafront & there was ample parking.

My only criticism, for me, was the toilet was on a plinth & a bit high off the ground in the room we had. Would be ok for most people but I have short legs!

The George is an excellent location for visiting Weymouth. It was easy to find, and such a pleasure to have good off road parking at the house. It was warm, comfortable and quiet, and the proprietor attentive and friendly. We like to have a window open at night, and the windows opened with ease. I liked the fresh fruit on offer at breakfast, and the everything in the cooked breakfast was cooked perfectly. The lovely woman serving the breakfast was friendly and attentive.

Very good parking area Greeted quickly and friendly. Very clean and plenty of towels. Great location for access to the seafront and town center as well as local pubs. Breakfast fry up ok.

I had been moved and I'm not sure it was for my benefit. Room was small and heating turned off overnight (extra throw was available). No heating in the en suite. Breakfast was only served between 8.30 and 9.30.

Absolutely amazing - close to town centre, big car park, spacious room, attention to details, comfortable bed, friendly hosts, tasty breakfast and super nice to dogs. Definitely good value for money!

Probably one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a B&B. Cooked to perfection, wonderful variety. Budget room was small but wonderfully laid out with modern good sized bathroom and fab waterfall shower. Lovely decor. Host was lovely. Great to have car park. Well situated - near beach & town. Would stay again.

Generous space for car parking a real bonus, room nice and warm with a comfortable bed but only a standard double, breakfast great, staff friendly.

Bathroom a bit tight but shower excellent always difficult when old properties are converted but as I am over 6ft space in the bathroom can be a premium !

Super friendly owners. Stayed in the middle of freezing winter, we were provided with extra blankets and a heater to warm the room up even more. Had a really cozy stay and an excellent breakfast. Great value stay.

Wonderful property, few minutes walk to beach. Room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast great. Dog friendly and very welcoming. Birthday cake and balloon was a wonderful surprise thank you. Will definitely be back.
