Cute cottage as described
Steep dangerous walk to Ironbridge, meant we had to get taxi back up to property. Sat nav. Wrong! Took us to wrong side of the valley. Need to use postcode not address.

The cottage was situated centrally to the attractions we had booked. It was warm, comfortable, well equipped and the host Axel was very lovely. He arranged for a later checkout for us which was very helpful. The beds were really nice and comfortable and the bedding was crisp, clean and fresh. We had everything we needed. I would be happy to recommend this cottage to friends and family.
I cant say much negatively, apart from the cutlery and glasses could have done with a clean as they didn't appear freshly washed. A couple of my family commented that the sofa wasn't very comfortable. We were fully aware the property had no parking but we didn't expect to have to park quite so far away from the house. These are minor niggles which will not stop us revisiting again.

The kitchen and dining room were fine. There was always plenty of hot water.
The third bedroom was woefully small for a double bed and had NO VENTILATION - no window. The only way to get any air was to leave the door open, as long as the other bedrooms left their windows and doors open. Storage for clothes was poor for all rooms - we couldn't leave anything in the cases as there was nowhere to put the cases. One room had a step ladder stored under the bed and another duvet. The beds were too short for tall people - one member had to poke his feet through the end rails. Two of the bedrooms had three very steep steps with no hand rail down to the toilet. The sitting room was small for six people - part of it was taken up with an extra single bed. The shower/bath could not be used by some because it was too slippery and there was no bath mat. Cloths in the kitchen and bathroom would have been useful.

Nothing really. This is NOT a cottage. It is an APARTMENT. It has NO OUTSIDE SPACE WHATSOEVER. Just a wall. Claustrophobic. Front door and into the living room which is horrendously arranged. Bad stay. One to avoid. Oh I almost forgot, definitely NOT child friendly.
Information. Just advertise it as an APARTMENT with no outside space.

Great size kitchen for 6 people to eat.
Very Comfortable beds.
Living room a little plain and settee very close to tv but understand it’s difficult to fit Morden furniture in old houses.
Could have done with 2 towels each.
Totally my fault for not checking but can’t remember reading any where about the very steep walk up to house from iron bridge centre.
Even with that a brilliant weekend and would recommend this property.

Could do with a bit thicker curtains

A beautiful cottage which ticked every box for a weekend away. Axel was helpful throughout and made sure everything was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend and visit again! Thank you.

The cottage was cosy, clean and warm. It’s not huge but 5 or 6 adults can comfortably stay here. We were comfortable on the sofas in the evenings. Plenty of room in the well equipped kitchen for 2 or 3 people preparing food and a large dining table could probably seat 8 ( if 2 were children) the bathroom was clean and of a good size for such a small cottage.
The location is very quiet if you want a little peace, but is a short drive from Ironbridge. Not far to walk down but we couldn’t face walking back up the steep hill.
The owner was very helpful and easy to contact.
It was good value for a short stay.
There is literally no outdoor space. The front door opens onto the road and while we did find parking around the corner and evenings were chilly in October, I imagine in the summer you might miss not being able to sit outside in the evening.
Our sat nav took us up a steep single track path. And down an even trickier one but we later discovered several easier access routes so look at a map before you go!
