the staff were beyond exceptional. the food fantastic. the beds comfortable

the shower did not have reliable hot water. or even reliable temperature for the duration of a short shower. the floor of the room creaked A LOT. ok for me but I felt bad if someone was on the ground floor. some more shaded lounge chairs would be nice - I’m quite fair so sunscreen only does so much.

Management was chaotic and staff weren't super helpful. Among a few issues there were mix-ups during both our check-in and check-out which resulted in our room being ready after 4pm.

The food was excellent and had many choices. They were willing to customize the dishes to request. The location on the beach was breathtaking. Very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and we spent time just talking with them.

Maybe a smart TV would have been nice.

private chill, if you want something quiet and really low-key this is the place although there’s not a lot of area to walk beaches the spaces are great. The staff is absolutely magnificent love them all.

Good breakfast and food available from the restaurant was good quality. You are a captive market and only way to leave is by boat or 4x4 so dependent on the hotel restaurant. Limited veggie options. Great cocktails and beautiful rooms, bathrooms and outside areas

The staff! The friendliest, loveliest people! Very quiet and praceful. Book a taxi recommended by the staff to avoid problems with finding the place and the difficult roads.

The rooms upstairs are divided by a very thin piece of plywood, a cabinet only. You can hear absolutely everything, including very quiet conversations. I felt like I shared a room. You can imagine if you're neighbours with an excited, romantically-inclined couple. For privacy, book one of the larger suits downstairs. Wear beach shoes, as the seafloor is made up of broken pieces of corals.

The food was delicious and the stuff were all soooo friendly!

The property is beautiful. Maria, the bartender and the young man who serves and supports the restaurant (I forget his name) and Luce- who was interning for the front desk, were all excellent and very helpful.

Beds were very uncomfortable, and the pool was filthy. The water is warm, but the beach is not great- The smaller rooms in the upstairs of each house are very small, and the walls are incredibly thin. Pay more and get the large room down below for sure!

outstanding and kind personnel gorgeous place in terms of location that provides privacy and peace. Just nature is on your hands, no boats around or noisy tourists. it offers a variety of places where you can rest, socialize and eat. PLUS: WIFI great, A/C and fan available without power issue’s.

the access it can be too adventurous, starting from a very crazy industrial area to a very batching unpaved road. it is a real adventure that ends in a paradise. Don’t expect turquoise waters but gorgeous clean and calm ones.

wonderful location off the beaten track, all amenities provided, the service was excellent!! breakfast was very good and lunch and dinner options are plenty, tasty, and reasonably priced. a massage with Carmen is a divine experience.

the mattress was uncomfortable any shortcomings - treacherous dirt road, corrals on beach and need for water shoes, no nearby stores and restaurants - are clearly communicated. visitors should contact hotel in advance to arrange for transport.

People who put any defects in this joint is just crazy…The place is AMAZING!! far from the crowds, staff if very very kind, private beach, wild birds around singing and relaxing you, wifi covers a large area, if you want to relax, this is the perfect place to stay.

Nothing at all!! I didn’t like Cartagena because of the crowd, this place is just the opposite of it! I really loved!

very nice location to kick back and relax for a few days. really friendly service staff

No where near a five star standard. this hotel is expensive for what you get. the hotel advised they could arrange transport for us to the hotel. our driver was 3 hours late after we sent a number of messages and calls to the hotel. when we arrived the receptionist just shrugged, did not apologise and made out like this was the taxi companies fault. I asked to speak to the manager who gave me an the same “not our problem”response. food is average and expensive. No info at check in on available services, tours around the island etc. this place has great potential (service staff are all excellent) however it’s closer to a 3 star than a 5 star

The staff was fantastic. They really went beyond to make our stay great. They helped us go on a plankton trip. It truly was an amazing and relaxing stay.

The pictures are a little misleading, I was expecting sandy beaches. But the beach was small, with corals and water not really clear. although, the water did eventually clear up, but it was brown.

Best people at the resort, really helpful and so nice! The staff were just excellent, would recommend any time !!!

- Their menu was basically half missing and the food was average (at best). The fish wasn't fresh and overpriced for what it was. We've been eating in Cartagena for a few weeks and the food couldn't compare to our 10k COP menu del dia we've been having. I'm not a foodie, but since you're quite remote it'd be nice to have a few more options. - Seems like some things were not up and running. They advertised a boat but it definitely hadn't moved for months (years maybe). - Advertise english speakers (definitely not the case). This was fine, we just used some translator apps and we can get by. - Stuff happens, but couldn't pay at the resort due to tech issues they had. So I had to go to their other location in Cartagena to pay a few days later. Basically, if they just updated their advertising to set expectations it would be helpful.
