About this condo rental
Nestled in Mendon, this charming condo for £53 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Mountain Green: 3E19 Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' This family-friendly condo is located in building three of the Mountain Green Resort in Killington, Vermont. Building three is the more desirable building because all of the amenities are located in this building including a restaurant, fitness room, vending machines, sauna, and steam room, which are open during the ski season. Being on one of the high floors and on the front of the building, you have a beautiful view of the mountain and some of the ski trails which are especially gorgeous in the fall when the leaves are changing. The Mountain Green Resort is right behind the Killington Resort and is surrounded by everything that Killington has to offer from skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing in the cold, snow-covered months, to the mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and fishing in the summer. The road up the mountain is lined with great restaurants and shops and the Adventure Center is a great place for the kids to burn off their endless energy while having a great time! THINGS TO KNOW This building will undergo roof construction from May 6, 2024, until October 31, 2024, and scaffolding will begin going up around Building 3 on May 13, 2024. We request guests be careful of the scaffolding and not approach it. The balcony will not be useable during summer construction, though a sheet of plywood will be placed across the slider for you to open for light and airflow. Work hours are typically from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on weekdays (evening/weekend work may occur). There may also be times when the construction company will need access to your vacation rental (you will be contacted ahead of time). Both elevators in Building 3 will be down due to maintenance from November 6, 2023, until November 9, 2023, from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. Mountain Green Amenities: Amenities will be closed until further notice; the shuttle bus will only run on weekends and holidays this winter season! The amenities are managed and controlled by the Mountain Green property management team. Vacasa will do their best to provide updates as we are notified. The restaurant is closed for the summer season, but will re-open for the winter season. Parking notes: No parking available. This rental is located on floor 5. Security camera details: Outside of all 3 Buildings and Outside the elevators of Building 3 Ski shuttle details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. Check in process is frustrating. Second time renting a unit and second time the check in process was botched. Wrong code was given and very difficult to gain access and took a decent amount of time to get in the unit. Again- frustrating. Other than that the unit and experience was good.

The apartment was well equipped and the bedding and furniture were very comfortable. The biggest problem we had was how hot it was. The airflow in the unit is not great and there were only two little fans for the entire place. That was a little rough.
Also, the parking situation wasn’t clear in the listing but ended up being fine. Had to park in the dirt lot across the street.
Overall it was good and we had a really nice stay.

The building is poorly marked and difficult to find. The help numbers where useless. Each unit has a numbered parking space you are not allowed to use. The parking was far away and not plowed well.We did like the unit itself once we were settled. The building itself is old and needs upgrading. Great location and view. Nice shower and kitchen.

The place was well taken care of, comfortable and about 7 minute walk to the snowshed lodge. The home was represented accurately on listing. The only reason for a 4 rating vs a 5 is the stocking and quality of the kitchen. The kitchen was lacking the number of quality cookware needed when cooking for 6 people and water machine leaking on the floor. The last minor thing is cookware was in terrible condition-scratched and uneven. we had to rush to get a pan, pot and aluminum foil ourselves in snowy day. Overall the stay was great, just minor inconveniences you don’t expect with a luxury rental. The property manager-Amber was responsive and I am sure these minor issues will be fixed and I do recommend this location.

The location to the mountain is great! Stayed midweek and the shuttle to the mountain was still running as normal which was awesome but even walking to the snowshed area was only 8min! Check-in was a piece of cake. Finding the building itself was a tad difficult but once we got our bearings it was nice to be in the same place as the amenities and rental center! Highly recommend using Black Dog over the Killington Rentals. Right in the lobby, great service and the guys were super helpful! The unit was nice, would stay here again, no question!

Loved the roominess and amenities, although health club, indoor pool and hot tub are closed, we did love the outdoor salty pool. Hops restaurant was very good.
It was particularly hot day with no wind, so had tough time falling asleep, there was only 1 box fan available. We cranked the sky light open, but by the time our bedroom cooled down to a manageable temp, it’s almost early in the morning, and by 5 it was very bright, so woke up with lot of red eyes

Located directly above the restaurant a Private party kept us up late Saturday night With loud music playing after 10 which is quiet hours. It was difficult to have our 3 and 5 year old sleep through it

Beautiful view of the resort and right in the center of the action. Perfect for a family with kids. Nice balcony but I wish there was a screen on the door so we could leave it open without bugs getting in. Building was a bit worn but the outdoor pool was great.

My wife and I and another couple rented the condo 3e19 while attending a jeep jamboree at the Killington resort area. The location was great as the large parking lot was directly across the street so our trucks and trailers were in view from the condo. Upon arrival at approximately 9:30pm we discovered that the elevators were not working. After walking around inside for 15-20 minutes searching for anyone to consult we found no one at all. I called the phone number for vacasa and pressed the extension for a security matter with our party thinking that would get a live person on the phone. Nope, all I heard was a stuttering message replaying over n over. We finally figured out that our only option was to use the fire exit stairs and carry all of our luggage up the to the condo. We were not happy after driving almost 1200 miles to get there. When we entered the condo the temperature inside was in the mid to upper 80's. I emailed vacasa and expressed the issues we were having and got a response after a few minutes which was surprising. I also received a phone call the next morning from a vacasa representative who didn't know why the elevators were not working when we arrived and stated that they had been working earlier that day. They did work for the remainder of our stay. The condo was nice and I would only complain about no air conditioning. It would have made the stay a lot more comfortable but we placed fans in the windows and left all the of them open the entire time we were there. I understand that the area is geared toward winter activities and a/c is probably rare for the area. Just something to keep in mind if you're going to be there in the summer. All of the fireplaces in the building have been deemed unsafe by the fire marshal and cannot be used. The amenities are seasonal and are closed according to the season. We were hoping to take advantage of the hot tub and sauna but they are only open in the winter. This is mentioned in the description but you have to actually go on the resort website to see what is available during your stay. I'm not sure why they choose to close all of the indoor amenities after may 30 as there were a lot of people there besides the jeep jamboree crowd and I'm sure they would have liked a soak too.
I don't want you to think that I was unhappy with our stay, I wasn't. The condo was perfectly fine and everything worked for the duration of our stay. My advice is to pay to close attention to the details of the listing. had I known that we would not have a/c or use of the hot tub/sauna area I probably would have chosen a different place. I can't blame them for that as I didn't do enough research beforehand.

The unit is in Building 3 which also houses a ski shop and local pub/restaurant with lots of friendly locals. The ski shop offers much better deals on rentals than the mountain resort across the street. The unit is very nice and we had no issues.

Parking lot directly across from front entrance has signs saying No Overnight Parking but it was not an issue. We didn't see any snow during the week so the lot didn't need to be plowed.

Rt 100 tour
We stayed at the condo for a few nights while we did the Rt 100 tour. It was a perfect mid way location if you’re breaking the tour up into a couple of days. The condo was clean and I would have no problem staying there again.

We loved the unit and our stay in Vermont! It was warm, cozy, and had a great view of the mountains. The outdoor saltwater pool was always warm even if the days were in the 70’s. We were able to cook meals with utensils in unit. Great location, there was lots to do in the summer nearby.

Great location
We absolutely loved our stay in this unit! It was a short 5-10 minute drive to the K1 lodge, where we took the gondola to the peak for a beautiful hike. It was such a nice day some of us even walked back to the Mountain Green (20min). The unit was so clean and comfortable, and the view of the mountain was beautiful - definitely would stay here again!
